“Fifty Shades of Grey” has a cult-like following - among women. Guys just don’t seem to get it or enjoy it as much. This funny, tongue-in-cheek “Secret Guide” claims to summarize the plot and offer tips and advice specifically for men. In reality, both men and women, especially if they've read the real book, will find some great laughs in this unique and humorous so-called...more

I could not stop laughing from intro to end. Short read. Precise in summary with cheeky humor. Definitely hilarious and highly recommendable!!!

This is basically what it says in the title - a guy's guide to Fifty Shades of Grey.

Having finished Fifty Shades of Grey sometime last year, and neither hating it nor loving it, I've decided the time has come to read the other books in the trilogy. I'm not sure whether I'm curious about the plot or whether or not the writing gets better. Anyway, I thought it would be a good idea to read a little summary of the first book, and my girlfriend had picked up this on her Kindle, so I thought I'd read...more

I laughed and laughed and laughed! And very loudly! My husband thought I was on the phone to a girlfriend because all he could hear was my cackling!

Oh, thank god I didn't pick this one up at the airport bookstore because that would have been just plain awkward reading this on a plane...I'd've had no consideration for my fellow passengers!

I cringed reading "the" book, but was determined to read all three of them as I hate having unread books on my shelf... So I related to it all..GOLD!

OMG. Okay the title specifies that this is for guys... so I couldn't help but wonder what the author wrote for guys about the book. Okay so I read all three books. I loved them. Now when I jokingly asked my boyfriend to read them (And no I would not make Adam read '50 Shades') I wanted to see what this had to say. With the book that has spawned so many commentaries and sparked so many sex lives it was not surprising to find out that guys might not be interested thus creating this book. I liked t...more

I think most women who have read 50 Shades are interesting in a male's perspective. of the book ; so, when a friend of mine told me about "A Guy's Secret Guide to Fifty Shades of Grey" I had to add it to my 'to read' list. Well, let me tell you this book is the funniest thing I've read in a while. The funniest part of all is a lot of the quirps Mr. Paolangeli reveals about 50 Shades is too true.

What is it about 50 Shades that sent thousands of women into a reading frenzy like a school of ravenou...more

This quick read is full of laughs. I started reading "50 Shades of Grey," but barely made it through half of the book, as the writing was repetitive and terrible. When I found Tom's book, I knew I had to read it, because I had finally found someone that agreed with me. He easily captures exactly how I felt stumbling through "50 Shades," and he puts a humorous spin on our shared anger at ourselves for wasting the time on such banal writing.

I'm not ashamed to admit that I like a well-written piec...more

I'm only on chapter 3 and I've already rated this book 5 stars. I enjoyed Fifty Shades, but I think I enjoy laughing about it even more.

I rather enjoyed this version of the book. It would have saved me the full time invested in reading the trilogy. I, too, found myself skipping over many paragraphs. Out of all 3 books, I preferred the epilogue of the last book. At least the woman finally started seeming less vapid. After reading the Fifty Shades of Grey series a good friend of mine recommended this book. I have to say I found myself laughing out loud. This book did not change my love for Fifty Shades, but did point out some very fun facts about the content of the book and the way that things are written. I would recommend it as a fun read.

I very funny "guide" for men on how to implement 50 Shades of Grey into their own life. The author gives a brief summary of each chapter and highlights points of interest for the average guy. I should state there is nothing explicit in the guide. It is a very short read. I think I read it in less than 30 minutes.

This is like a funny Cliffnotes book for guys, but any girl will love this too. Hysterically funny and now I want to read "Fifty Shades" again with this author's point-of-view. Ladies read this yourself then lend it to your guy so he gets a unique insight into why we love Christian Grey so much!

Too, too funny! I laughed right out loud through this short and to-the-point book, thrilled that Mr. Paolangeli had read my mind when it came to the Fifty Shades series.
Warning: Put down your coffee before reading, snorting it out your nose is a serious danger.

Great laughs. Some fell flat but I actually laughed out loud several times. Are we ladies that incomprehensible to our men? Please excuse me as I bite my lip and quirk about that for a while. Read it in less than 20 minutes (including the time spend buying it online).

It was a quick read over coffee whilst waiting for a girl friend. I'm sure people thought I was mad as I kept laughing out loud. What it confirmed to me was men have no idea who Mr Grey is & more importantly what we want from him. Great to read a mans point of view well for a laugh............

Laugh out loud funny. I really enjoyed this summary of Fifty Shades of Grey book one. I hope the author changes his mind and summarizes books two and three.
Angela
Not for women??? Are you kidding me? I read this and was laughing out loud hysterically! I had tears from laughing so hard. This is a fun read!! Loved it!

Quick read, it's really informational to those who have NOT read 50 shades, but more funny for people who have. It was worth the $1 Kindle price.
Fiona
