Resigned to her fate, seductress Lilith Straight continues on her as-of-yet successful career of tempting innocent souls into the world of sin. But her guilt weighs her down. Add to that a frustratingly difficult client, a sexy incubus competing with her and a bet that encompasses heaven and hell and you have recipe guaranteed for enjoyment.

If you tried Straight to Hell and found it too dark, well, I have good news. Go Straight to Heaven. (See how I did that? I’m so clever. :) ) Heaven is much more of a cozy book than book one. Hell was sort of a cozy, but it was also noir, and there were parts that drove me a bit crazy with the desperation of it all. Do not ask me how an author comes up with such a combo. It takes more talent than I have to try such. I think it comes from writers who are used to writing fantasy (Michelle has publi...more

This is book two in the ‘Lilith Straight’ series. **Warning** unavoidable spoilers for book 1 ‘straight to hell’.
Lilith is now on to her 19th seduction. She hates being a succubus, but anything is better than her 8 year-old daughter Grace having to do the job instead. Lilith is still as determined as ever to try and get out of her contract, she just has to find the right way to do it!

Lilith Straight is back. This time with new assignment. Did I mention that she works for the Devil? She almost died in the book one, and became a succubus just to be there for her daughter. And that hasn't changed yet. She has a new contract, finish the job to save her daughter from the curse of becoming a succubus. But there is a little problem, or should I say problems. There is always someone to bother her. And that someone comes from Heaven. There is always someone with shiny blue eyes tryin...more

I don't make a habit of reading a book when it's in a series if the series isn't complete. Just as I don't make a habit of watching a TV series unless it's a few seasons in. Why? I am abysmally impatient.
I started this book with so many expectations after being done with Straight to Hell, I even started it right away since I was excited to know what happens next!

The second installment in the Lilith Straight series did not disappoint. Just as Lilith thinks she has things under control as a succubus, her world once again is pulled out from under her. After a run in with an angel bent on keeping her from succeeding on her current task and a contest against oh so yummy William about who will complete the task first, Lilith has to get creative in order to achieve her goal.

Why I liked it.
So, Lilith Straight is at it again. Being a Succubus, taking charge of her crazy life and hoping that everything turns out fine. Can she stay out of trouble? I doubt that. And there’s so much going around her, so much she is to take care of, that I do feel sorry for her at times. But I truly admire her brave, feisty character. It’s something worth marveling at.

I am going to be brutally honest here, I didn't love Lilith after reading the first book in the series, Straight To Hell. She didn't have any redeeming qualities and she made a lot of really bad and really stupid choices that just seemed to make her life and the ones she loved harder.
I didn't understand her and I couldn't relate to her but the I did like the concept of the series and the writing and still felt myself drawn into the story.

I really enjoyed this book. I thought it was cute and fun. Perfect for the beach or a vacation! I liked Lilith as a character, especially her love for her daughter. I might not have always agreed with her decisions, but I respected her as a character, so it worked for me. Also, the secondary characters were great. I loved the variety of secondary characters, with my favourites being Mr. Clerk and Ariel.

I was given a free copy of this book on it's blog tour for an honest review.
This book picks up with Lil living both the perks and cons of her choices from book one. She’s come to terms with her inner demon and attempted to salvage her life the best she can. I have to admit for the most part, I was still devastated by her actions in the last book. Therefore I was in a moot mood until I saw the conflict. Then I began to root for her adversaries. (Shameful but true.) Yet right when I was three quar...more

Great follow on. Review to follow shortly.
I just couldn't do it. The only thing I found amusement in while reading Straight to Heaven was that Lilith kept getting thwarted at every turn by a guardian angel. That was about the only thing I found entertaining at all. It was her, Lilith. I just couldn't stand her therefore I didn't get into this story either. Smh.
