This is one sequel that I think surpassed its predecessor. I thoroughly enjoyed book 1 but book 2 simply captured my attention from the first page and kept me enthralled with every mishap that Nick Morrow managed to pull his team out of. And those mishaps were many.

just finished and it is even better than the first one in this series. I think Nick Morrow reminds me a little bit of one of My other favorite fictional heroes: it is Richard Sharpe from the historical novels by Bernard Cornwell. It is the same fiercely loyal and inventive man who does everything for his men and everything for the cause even if he is an outsider. And I really like his band of misfits (also parallel to the Sharpe Stories)

This was a great, action filled story. I loved the characters and I felt for them, always being sent on suicide missions as they were seen as being expendable. The pace was fast and the action unrelenting.
