The Timely Gift by Suzy Steward Dubot
This is a fairly short story but a complete story no less. When at James Myers, Esquire's home for a charity, the 4th Viscount Palmer, Ivan, gets up to use the water closet, opens the wrong door and ends up in Elizabeth Denby's bedroom. Known as Libby by her friends. She was dressed like a strumpet with such a short dressing gown and her shoulders showing as well. After a bit they finally realize all is not right. 3.5 stars for time travel and love across the ages.

This short story was a free download from the author's website.
It begins by sharing that what one may see as a gift, may also be a disadvantage or curse to another.
The story takes place in two very different centuries, with a mystifying leap from one to the other.
Could it be that love transcends time and physical being?
Told with a sense of humor, this was a very enjoyable quick read.
