A heavy little book about the sins, mistakes, dreams and secrets of a father, mother and daughter. Sounds interesting but it didn't quite work for me. The father's account was too distant, the mother's diary too depressing and the daughter's explanations simply came too late. Neither really came to life or got me hooked. Sorry!

A little disconnected for me. Less emotion came through than I was expecting given the topics and relationships covered. Would recommend to fans of literary fiction, or those looking for non-traditional narratives or narrators.
