‘Vrolijke bespiegelingen over de tijdgeest’, zo noemt Gerrit Komrij de stukken die gebundeld zijn in Morgen heten we allemaal Ali. Daar valt weinig op af te dingen, ook al is Komrijs blijmoedigheid de feestelijke verpakking van opnieuw een niets en niemand ontziende schrijfexercitie.

Het grootste gelijk krijgen zij die niet per se hun gelijk willen hebben. Dat hoef je Gerrit Komrij niet te vertellen. Komrij schrijft: ‘Luiheid en onverschilligheid vormen de smeerolie van de maatschappelijke discus
