This was okay, but certainly not a favorite. The story could have been much better if the characters were given more dimension and the story had been drawn out more. As it was, Leda fell completely flat for me and was obnoxiously catty towards Kyle for no apparent reason on several occasions, which I think was a failed attempt to make her more interesting. Didn't work. And Kyle wasn't given enough attention to make me really care much about him, which sucked because it could have been a really h ...more
Very straight forward romance story. Leda is pursuing a career as an actress after completing college and returning to her home town. She falls in love with the man who was accused of causing her father's death. Kyle has paid his debt to society by serving several years in prison. He has returned to town to try and prove his innocence. Leda leaves on tour with an acting group because she finds a memo written by her father that leads her to believe that Kyle really is guilty. 3-12 stars. Pretty good. Takes place before cellphones. :)
