Diane Strong's 'Newspaper Bundle' is a collection of charming vignettes which often bring an unexpected smile to the lips. She writes in a fluid, engaging style and one which creates a feeling of intimacy with the author; a sense that you are privy to her thoughts and feelings.
I went through the book in one sitting and was consequently late for work. It was worth it.
'Newspaper Bundle' is a great introduction to Strong's writing, which has deepened with her 'Running Suspense' series.
Read this.
