I haven't read any other books in this series yet and I really enjoyed this book. I will now go back and read from the beginning.
These two were great for each other and I loved how their powers worked together. I look forward to getting a glimpse of them in future stories in this series.

I have wanted to read this for a while but held off. Having never read any of the other stories in this series, I was worried it would be difficult to follow. I was wrong. It worked wonderfully as a standalone novel but to be honest I now HAVE to read the rest of the series - it was that good. Marie Harte wrote an extremely addictive story with Flight of Fancy. I had a hard time putting it down. The storyline didn't let up and the character/relationship development was well paced.

Aidan and Gavin had to go on a mission together and I always get a bit nervous when a part is told from the point of view from the bad guy. It was pretty hard for me to read but it really helped to increase the tension in this book. The mission itself, didn't really do much for me. While the sexual aspect was out of my comfort zone, the characters themselves were very nicely done. The emotion behind the characters came across as real and honest. Seeing Gavin come into himself with Aiden's help was a great read.
My comfort zone... Bdsm is not my favorite thing to read unless in the mild area. While exhibition I can deal with, adding playmates to a scene with committed couple even though the arousal is there the emotional aspect takes a beating in my opinion. Other than that,...more

Well done. Liked the characterization of Aiden's worries over a real relationship, and the continuation of the overall mystery/suspense storyline. Glad to see two more in the series coming this year.
Aidan has trouble getting close to people because no one can every really trust a mind-reader. When he is tasked to go on a mission to retrieve a book, he is happy to get away from the Power Up! gym for awhile. When he finds out he has to go with Gavin, the team screw-up, he is concerned because of Gavin's history of messing up in the field, as well as his attraction to Gavin. Going undercover as lovers doesn't help matters either.
