Shelves: 2012-read, triplets
This one was cute if you like kids in your romance. The hero is divorced dad of triplets. He has sole custody as his ex pretty much abandoned him and her daughters. The heroine has been married for several years and for most of those years her husband has been missing. He was a foreign correspondent who disappeared somewhere over seas. He’s been declared legally dead but she doesn’t believe it and has spent much money and emotional resources into trying to find him.

I absolutely love this cover. It screams sweetness and I just had to read this book. I found this story endearing and very real. I felt like I was reading about a friend. It takes place in sunny California. I am from California and it made me miss it. Anyways, I found this book so fun, romantic and it had me laughing out loud. I was cracking up when Michelle takes Jacob's girls to the store by herself. I thought it was great how she thought it would be a piece of cake. I also like Jacob he is a ...more

This was a sweet romance, deeply entrenched in the emotions of the heroine. Michelle is in a difficult situation, balancing between an old love and the opportunity to move on. Though I felt a better justification was needed, her journey of loving again is tender and difficult at the same time. Jacob is a good, strong character without being unrealistic. Their interactions were realistic and fun. They have some wonderfully fun kisses, too. The three little girls confused me for a bit, but I think ...more

I loved this book... Sigh especially because of the little girls and the fact they had a voice in the story... made it sooo sweet and I just wanted to hug them... I respected the h, but I couldn't understand or even relate to her I'm Married! I'm Married stance even though her husband had been missing 5 years and declared dead by the government, I totally give her kudos for that level of dedication but all I could think was would this happen in reality, would you put your life on pause after tha ...more

This is a release aptly categorized as "Heartwarming" in the Harlequin collection. There is nothing salacious or scandalous, just two adults finding love with each other while overcoming their own problems. What made this book special for me is the occasional POV from each of the adorable 7-yr old triplets. The story was well done and reading it was a morning well spent.

Started off well, but then got annoyingly repetitive. The kids were cute.
