Kallen has the opportunity to go back to his realm and bring Xandra with him. The catch? Xandra will be putting her life on the line to stop a rebellion and save the life of the biological father she hates. She has the power to do it, just not the control. Good thing she has him to help keep the collateral damage from getting too high.

The bigger catch? He is now going to h

This review is for books till Book #8.
Recommendation? Stop reading at Book#7.5

I've a different review posted for Book#8.
But from 1-7, this series is just awesome.

Xandra is coming of age and learns a whole new world and about herself.
She deals with many challenges and comes off as any teenager - a bit confused, a bit arrogant, chastened by elders and at times rebellious.

Kallen is the character that shines in this series.
He is powerful but his power is easily overshadowed by the more powerful Xand

Always a pleasure to see the story from kallen's perspective. Hopefully we'll get the other books from kallen's view. Can't wait for the next xandra book.

I love that Ms. Lamer writes both Xandra's and Kallen's perspective. And I loved this book too. I stayed up way too late to finish it.

A good story

I enjoy the story line and love the concept of getting both points of view in consecutive books, but I am finding the editing errors distracting. Parts of paragraphs from the previous book left in awkward places that don't make sense, conversations in the wrong character's voice and is it Tabatha or Tabitha because it seems interchangeable. I'm hoping that it gets better as I try to continue through the series

I always have enjoyed reading how the significant other thinks and experiences situations, so I find these books to be most entertaining. It also goes into more detail of what's happening in those gaps when the female lead and male lead are not together. Makes the reader fall easily in love with this particular character cause you get into so much depth with how they are feeling, it's easy to get attached to such a supporting, encouraging individual

I love Kallen and Xandra. I enjoy experiencing the story through both characters.
Bonnie Lamer does it again! Kallen's point of view had me laughing out loud and staying up late. I told myself I needed sleep but I just had to finish it (even though I basically knew what would happen via book 3.) Great series!

Kallen, has he's hands full. Xandra is a full time job and he is going to half to keep one foot ahead of her.

Being in love is a joy. Now they are left-hand fasted what eles can come at them

Lives this book. Completes the story from Kallen's point of view. There were many laugh out loud moments.
