A fine collection, even if I am part of it. Sometimes you just have to throw the match over your shoulder and walk away. Here's 15 writers who did.

I'm proud to be a part of this anthology. I hope readers can feel the energy we put into it.

I recently saw a promo post for Burning Bridges: A Renegade Anthology and I picked it up. Edited by Heath Lowrance, formatted by Benjamin Sobieck and with cover art by McDroll, this is probably one of the best anthologies I've read, and for one reason; it's so diverse.

It isn't just the styles of the writers. This book spans from noir to fantasy, humor to real-life. There are fourteen writers in here, and I want to just a quick sentence for each story, and what impression it gave me. If you want

A collection of extraordinarily diverse stories. Some authors have embraced the theme of burning bridges, using broad strokes to outline it, whilst others have been more subtle. As quirky a collection as you will find.

There are stories of chance encounters. There is a tale of revenge that goes horribly wrong. A man on a mission does battle with extra terrestrials in his quest not to be late for work. In K.A. Laity’s excellent fable like story Horse Clock the goddess Sekhmet reflects on the past

A collection of 15 short stories that illustrate sometimes you have to burn your bridges before you can move on. Whether it's quitting your job, killing your spouse, screwing your boss' wife, getting revenge... You name it, there is probably a short story in this collection describing it.

I thought the anthology was great. It covers many genres and there is something for everyone. What bridge do you want to burn? Read on.

Very entertaining anthology about a cool, creative concept. Not all the story caught my eye, but the major players deliver on this one, big time. Plus, this guy I didn't know before George S. Geisinger gave one of the best stories. Watch also for stories by Allan Leverone, Paul D. Brazill, Heath Lowrance, Julia Madeleine and Ben Sobieck. The authors here do a great job at making the most of such a broad idea and burn all kinds of bridges. Read it for the standout stories, read it because the ...more

Out of the ashes of burnt bridges, a rare phoenix arises! The publishing landscape is littered with corpses, but some writers refuse to lie down and die just because they got screwed by an unethical 'publisher' -- no! They knew that living well is the best revenge. There's something here for everyone. Dig in, the prices is right -- you get a sampler of some of the finest in both new and seasoned writers.
