Although his writing was a bit repetitive and pretty textbookish, I loved the content! This takes you through the 20th century, decade by decade (for the most part), and discusses how what was going on politically and socially had an impact on what was happening on the Great White Way. Bringing history and musicals together made for a fascinating read!
