This is another fun installment into the Accidentally Yours series.

We start of with Cimil causing more chaos by roping Penelope into being a surrogate mum for her brother, the sun god, Kinich. Penelope is very adamant that her womb is not for sale, however all sorts of interesting hilariously confrontations occur, that may have swayed her mind, including meeting the delicious Sun God himself.

This is another fun installment into the Accidentally Yours series.

We start of with Cimil causing more chaos by roping Penelope into being a surrogate mum for her brother, the sun god, Kinich. Penelope is very adamant that her womb is not for sale, however all sorts of interesting hilariously confrontations occur, that may have swayed her mind, including meeting the delicious Sun God himself.

That is not good enough for Cimil however, and she has many back up plans in place, her devious nature knows no bounds.

However something goes wrong and Cimil's visions of the future disappear which could mean the end of the world.

I would just like to start by saying I love the light hearted, humorous way these stories are written and this one is no different. The conversations are fast paced and the verbal banter and inner monologues are highly entertaining, I was turning the pages just to say what somebody would say next.

Characters from previous books were back to entertain us and add new dimensions to what was going on and I loved to see how they were going.

The introduction of new mythological characters was great, angels and angry naked leprechauns, hahaha( no they weren't in the story but they exist in this world), it definitely kept me intrigued as to what other things they could add into this world.

Poor Penelope our new main heroine of this book, I felt sorry for everything she had to take in, but man did she take it in her stride, I really liked her as a character. Therefore I was a little disappointed in the ending. I got there and I was thinking okay, things are about to get good and there will be my happily ever after, ahem I mean Penelope and Kinich's happily ever after.... and there it was.. To be Continued. Noooooo! We better get more of their story in the future!!!

Even though we are left with a cliffhanger of sorts, it also gave us the beginning of a few other stories that I am looking forward to reading. Cimil and her Roberto, hahahah, finally maybe someone to tame that crazy goddess? Viktor and Penelope's mum? Tommaso, so many stories to be told and hopefully all in this same witty format. I am really looking forward to seeing what will come next.

I would give it 4 1/2 stars if I could.

I like this book the best in the series so far! I was really worried that the series would get predictable and boring, and go stale like that pack of crackers you threw in your purse for emergency munchies, but when you pull them out and see they're all crumbly and broken you throw them back in your purse in case you're ever desperate enough to eat them, but never do.....whoa, I think I was channeling Cimil for a minute there. With several plot twists, more snarky dialogue, and visits from previous characters we've met in the series, Ms. Pamfiloff amps up the heat in more ways than one.

Penelope, the heroine of this story, is a young woman who's devoted to her sick mother. She'll do whatever it takes to help her mother get well. When Cimil, the Goddess of the Underworld, offers her a cure for her mother in exchange for a "little" favor, Penelope jumps at the chance. She just doesn't realize it will require her to mate with Kinichi, the Sun God, and provide Cimil with a niece or nephew. She doesn't plan on falling in love with a God.

Kinichi, or Nick, God of the Sun, is a hilarious leading man; incredibly handsome, arrogant and unwilling to get into any relationship, he suddenly finds his sister trying to hook him up with a human female. Nick is a firm believer that there must be balance in the Universe and doesn't believe the gods should mix with human beings. With a "hands off policy", Nick suddenly finds himself unable to keep his hands to himself; at least when it comes to Penelope.

Unlike the other books in the series; we don't really get to see a Happily Ever After in this book - it's definitely hinted at but appears to be something we'll see in one of the upcoming books. We do get a cliffhanger ending (not my favorite type) and know we'll be seeing lots of upcoming action from how this story ended. We'll have to wait to till the next book is released to see what further adventures these Gods and their humans get into next. Hopefully we won't have to wait to long as Ms. Pamfiloff is releasing a novella in the series next, Accidentally.....Evil, Accidentally Yours 3.5, the story of Backlum Chaam, the God of Male Virility.(less)

This is the third book in the " Accidentally Yours " series and Mimi Pamfiloff did not disappoint . She did more than live up the expectations of book 1 and 2 , but surpassed them and excelled.

Her characters are strong and beautiful, but with a smidge of self doubt, which makes them even more likable.

I really enjoyed this book!

One of the major issues readers will have with this series in general is that sometimes Ms. Pamfiloff doesn't know when to stop regarding cutesy internal dialogue or jokey explanations. That said, this book and the books in the series had me laughing. If you can get through this without being overly annoyed with the perpetual Penelope soliloquys (ugh and how do you pluralize soliloquy? I don't even know) in her own head you will enjoy this.

This book is about Penelope and Kinich. Kinich thinks Payals and really any non God race should not procreate with the 14 gods. Apparently Kinich is the Sun God and the leader of the Gods and he has an agenda to ensure that his perspective that Gods procreating is bad mojo is officially instituted among his brethren. Meanwhile- Cimil, in her mostly entertaining ways (she's an almost Nyx knockoff from the Kresely Cole series IMO, but I loved the irreverence of the Valkries in that series and generally enjoy that attitude in characters so I do not care!) gets her hands dirty all over the place to steer events of the world and lives toward an unknowable goal. This includes setting Penelope up with Kinich with a few strange rules and an offer Penelope can scarcely refuse. Penelope is taking care of her incredibly sick mother and is under financial life draining strain to do it all by herself.

This installment of the series has fun twists and turns IMO if abruptly introduced. I loved the interactions of the Gods and the summits. I really enjoyed the introduction of Zac and I think he will figure largely in the next book. Although I will say that Zac's interactions with Penelope is blatantly suspect and makes me wonder if he's truly on the good guy team. I hope he is because he sounds vaguely like a sexy dreamboat of a God and I'll gladly read his romance later in the series if it's going to happen!

This ends on a cliff hanger dammit! I can handle that if the next book is coming out soon. I'll keep telling myself that so I don't fume. I'll be happier if the next book really wraps this Apocolypse up and I loved the ending otherwise.

This will be great for fans of PNR looking for another different series. Also if you like super huge men with super huge fun manly accessories you will enjoy this series. New races are introduced in this one and YAY for that! So far no shifters (thank god, I mean, enough with the blue collar motorcyle driving holey jean hairy alphas thank you!) but several vampires, Gods, Payals (offspring of humans+Gods), a new paranormal that I will not mention bc it's a major spoiler but I LOVED it, and according to Cimil, unicorns, leprechauns, and of course the evil Mayan priests.

I'll be getting the next one as soon as it hits Amazon.

What the heck is wrong with that retarded of Cimil? I mean she`s so crazy and heartless, she plays with people`s lives like playing with her new toy. The all-knowing and all-seeing goddess Cimil is back in all her wacky glory to manipulate the future for Sun God Nick and overworked Penelope, whose surprising genetic background plays an important role in the story. Cimil is full of crazy thoughts and laugh out loud one-liners and brings much needed comic relief when things get too angsty. Full of wonderful humor as well is Penelope, who can't believe what she's gotten herself into out of fear for her mother and an instantaneous attraction to the powerfully sexy Nick. She's a surprisingly competent heroine who's stronger than she knows and ends up becoming a leader with the unconventional support of Nick. She's extremely likable and rolls with whatever unhappiness fate throws at her. She's worthy of interacting with the paranormal creatures fighting evil.

Nick is super sexy and undeniably powerful, but looks down on humans in relation to mating. They're good enough to protect but weak and a liability in matters of love. So no matter how attracted he is to her he knows their time together is temporary. Even if fate decrees he and Penelope have a child, he sees an offspring as leading to the apocalypse and fights fate every step of the way. Nick is definitely arrogant but you can't help being drawn to him. The sexual interactions between he and Penelope are super hot and are nicely spaced throughout the story to keep the sexual tension strung tight.

Without having read the previous two books in this series I was still totally immersed in the story from the start. Quick yet subtly included character recaps got me caught up on the action and explained the intense suspense and life or death scenario. There's a slew of colorful and intriguing secondary characters that leapt off the page and clamored for my attention and have me waiting with bated breath for book four after the emotionally charged cliffhanger ending of this story. As a fan of the paranormal I highly recommend this book which offers so much more than you expect.(less)

Although Guy will always take number 1 place in my heart I thoroughly enjoyed this story about his brother Nick. It took me longer to get into this book, but by the end I was on the edge of my seat and cursing the Gods about another danged cliffhanger....... GACK!

IMO, Penelope isn't as likeable as Emma or Helena but I don't think it distracts from the story at all. She is strong, witty and brave so pretty much perfect for the stubborn Nick aka Sun God. If only he would see that.

So good. I loved that this one used the characters from the previous books so it was so much easier to follow what was going. I'd say that this installment of the series was the best of them all.
The character development was thorough and intriguing. One is left wanting more but having enough answers revealed. We got to see the characters in the previous books, but this book mostly focused on Penelope and Kinich.

They usually say, 3 strikes you're out. Well, it's reverse here with Mimi Pamfiloff's 3rd book in the Accidentally Yours series. I wanna scream it from the roof tops....MIMI HAS DONE IT AGAIN!! I had no doubt in my mind, that I would love book #3, as much as I loved books #1 and #2. To top it all off, we're getting another book!! AHHHHH...."To Be Continued", never saddened me more. What can I say about Sun God Seeks...Surrogate? I'll start by saying that I find it extremely humorous, how these humans always "meet" these Gods. This one didn't disappoint in that area as well. We all know her and love her, Cimil, is back at it again. Meddling in people's lives, sparring out crazy lingo and sentences, wearing crazy hot pink outfits and trying to get one of her God brother's to have a child. Cimil is dead set on having this God produce an offspring, that it backfries and might cause the end of the world...

The gorgeous God, whom is being set up to have an offspring, is Kinich...Nick to his friends...He's the God of the Sun. Kinich is not only strong, stubborn, kind, and sexy, but he's very serious, when it comes to protecting humans, the world and keeping balance amongst all of them. He's a firm believer that Gods and Humans should not have children together. That Gods and Humans have no future together, if they get together. He's always telling his brother Guy this same thing. That Gods ALWAYS put the needs of the humans/world before their own, and that they will eventually one day, hut those that they love,therefore, Kinich stands firm on his decisions. So when his own "hands off" the humans policy becomes one that he cannot control because of a certain human, Kinich must figure out what to do with things, before it all explodes in his face.

Penelope, the heroin, the human who finally awakens Kinich's senses, is a regular girl next door. She and her mother have been on their own forever and now that her mother is very sick, Penelope, will do anything in her power, to make sure she stays well. The only problem with that, is that they don't have the money or resources to do so. Penelope is fierce, funny, and full of love. She's a fighter, even though she thinks that she's not and she stands up for her beliefs, no matter what or who are trying to stand in her way.

When Cimil comes along and strikes a bargain with Penelope, for her to have her brother's child, for money, Penelope thinks Cimil is a crazy loon, but still decides to meet Cimil's brother. One thing leads to another between them, and they wake up one morning, not knowing or remembering what has happened the night before. In the midst of all this confusion, the Maaskab are after Penelope, for reasons, that no one yet knows.

Kinich will stop at nothing to protect Penelope and keep her safe. Does that mean he'll also fall in love, breaking down his own barriers of not believing that a God can be with a human? We also get to see familiar faces from the past. This story also intertwines, Guy & Emma's story, from book #1. Emma is still looking for her grandmother, and NOW, Penelope's mother has been taken by the same people that Emma's grandmother is leading. Talk about a mess. When Cimil finally shows her face again, everything is in turmoil. Kinich has lost his God powers, Penelope has gained them, Guy has gone missing, the end of the world is looming over them and feelings have been hurt.

I love Penelope's attiude...
She knows there are weird things happening but she can still see what should be done..
Even when she thinks she has been abandoned by the one person she has opened up to..
Everybody comes together in this book :)

We find out who Andres is looking for..
We find out what really happened to Tommas
I started to mellow towards Cimil **pinching my finger tips almost touching**... just a little bit!

What can I say? I came across the first of the Accidentally Yours series a while back and became instantly addicted. It's like crack...or as the heroine of this newest intallment may refer to it as grack.
This book is funny and I found myself falling in love with all the characters in Mimi Jean Pamgiloff's world full of oddball gods, goddesses, vampires, half vampires, payals, naked angry leprachauns...the list goes on and on. Third in the series and I liked the new characters and the developing group story line. This books focuses on Nick, the Sun God, who desires to be human while also believing that the gods and humans intermingling is hastening the arrival of the Great War.

Enter Penelope into the picture. She's struggling to make ends meet while nursing her chronically ill Mother. When the goddess Cimil offers her $1,000,000 to have Nick's baby, she's both offended but tempted.

Penelope's mother is ill and she is working as hard as she can to save her, when she receives an offer that she can't help but consider: One million dollars to bear the child of Kinich, Simil's brother.

She says no repeatedly, but finally she agrees to meet and listen to him for $500,000. Funnily enough, he doesn't seem to want to talk about it.

This is an amusing and quirky urban fantasy/romance. I enjoy the goofy characters and the basic story as well.

Mimi Jean Pamfiloff has a wicked sense of humor! I love her books! I found myself sucked into this story and laughing out loud throughout the whole book. This paranormal romance was very entertaining and well written. The varying personalities and their quirks set it apart from most other writers. Mimi never stops amazing me! I loved books 1 & 2 so there was no doubt in my mind that I would also love book 3....however; I was pleasantly surprised as to how much more I loved it!!! I "accidentally" stumbled on this book/series and was so happy that I did! I truly think it takes a talented author to write a story that involves fantasy/paranormal components....and an even more talented one to make an entire fantasy world come to life in your head and not have it become confusing. Throw in some hilarious characters that wish you could hang out with and you get an awesome series. I have read all three and greatly anticipate another one. I had to reread the prior 2 books to bring myself up to speed before tackling this. Auntie Cimil is a hoot as usual and gets what's coming to her one hopes). Again we're a few steps forward and back. If you've read the other books in this series then it shouldn't come as a surprise that it ends with a cliff hanger..and unresolved.
Am I the only one getting tired or this? I like my plots nicely wrapped with a bow on top thanks.

First thing to know is that this is book 3 of the Accidentally Yours series and I know you will love this one but be sure to pick up the first two and read them! Mostly because it will just make understanding all the inside jokes and references that the author Mimi Jean Pamfiloff uses more funny.
In Sun God Seeks Surrogate? we are already familiar with the crazy enigmatic Cimil and in the opening to this book she one up's even herself with a hot pink outfit that would have even drag queens cring...more

My Thoughts:
It was an okay read but my review disclaimer is that books that end with cliffhangers receive an auto star reduction because they contain an incomplete story. I don't require a HEA and will settle for a HFN. But cliffhangers??? They just suck the interest right out of a story (series) for me.

This story was chock full of characters with diverse personality traits. Good in one respect because it kept the story interesting but bad in that it got overwhelming at times with all the people popping in throughout the story. I understand that they were essential to the plot but the story took on a chaotic dimension because of it. The subplots were complex but frustrating, especially as I reached the end of the story and spied no resolution because of the dreaded cliffhanger. And although the story was funny at times, there were many times when the humor felt contrived ("Grack" was one such instance and Cimil's almost excessive hijinks was another). The all-too-prevalent sarcastic quips, retorts, and banal humor ceased having entertainment value after a while.

All in all Sun God Seeks…Surrogate? wasn't a bad story...I just gained more enjoyment from Accidentally in Love with...A God? and Accidentally Married to...A Vampire? I'm crossing my fingers that the next book will feel a bit more fluid and answer some of the unanswered questions that remained in this one.

P.S. This is not a stand alone book. You will be completely lost if you do not read the first two books in the series.

I never thought I'd see these words from this series. :(

The story was good. It started out on a light and funny note just like the other two books.

Nick was very serious with his stand about the "no-touching-mortals-rule" but he was totally contradicting himself when it comes to Penelope. She wakes up not remembering what they did but is lying in bed with the sexy man naked. She can only assume. After a misunderstanding of gigantic proportions they leave but neither can forget the other, even though neither remember the night they may have shared. With the money in hand and now her mom getting treatment. He trys to call her to apologize about the way he treated her and knows it is all Cimil's doing. On the Phone he hears Penelope scream and it is a race to get to her in time. With the evil thing at Penelope's doorstep (literaly), she is thrown into a world she never knew existed. One with vampires, good and evil, evil priest bent on killing her, gods and naked leprechauns? As they get to know each other, their love grows but will it matter in the end? When Cimil's plan finally comes to light, it may just be the end of all of us.

I really enjoy this series. Not a serious read, expect to laugh. Cimil, I love you....crazy as you are. The two main characters are meant to be together and you can feel it, but he is stubborn and stuck in his god ways. Over all a great book, thoroughly enjoyed it until it ended. Cliffhangers beware!! Hopefully we will not have to wait to long!

This was a fantastic third book in the Accidentally Yours series! The main characters are Penelope and Kinich (Nick). And I think Kinich is my favorite God so far. Although Mimi introduces a ton of new characters as well as bringing back characters from books 1 and 2. She has created a fantastic world with characters that present endless possibilities. The story of the Sun god Nick (Kinich) and Penelope.

As always, the author again showed how funny she is. There were so many funny and sarcastic dialogues, monologues and side comments. But sometimes when you've had too many, it becomes tiring. I saw some typos and some grammar problems (it kinda distracted me). No editor?

I started reading this book in the morning and could not put it down until I finished. My eyes were blurry from reading, but mostly from laughing. The book is quick paced, smart, and fresh. Fans will not be disappointed in the third book of the series. All of the favorite characters are back. Cimil is in rare form. The fellas are steamy, or is that scorching hot. Where is my sun block? And, the bad creatures are up to now good.

This is officially the first book I have read in 2013. Talk about starting off the new year with a bang! I am in love with this author. For realzies. I am SO SAD with the way the book ended and even more sad that I haven't read anything that has implied the 4th book is coming out any time soon. I need to know what happened between Kinich and Pen. I seriously will not be complete until I find out!
