I'll admit that I like stories about subs (or Doms, for that matter) who suddenly come to realize their importance for their partner beyond the kinky BDSM play they engage in. The huge sculpture featured in this short story was a lot of fun and the characters were decent. There was some nice intense sex and then some nice conversation about insecurities in the Dom/sub relationship.
This was an enjoyable short story. I really would have liked to learn more about this particular couple. I especially liked Jay, so tremulous about his relationship with Sir.

I have always enjoyed Kim Dare's books. They are always filled with hot chemistry, tenderness and a very deep sense of love. I felt that this one had 2 out of the three. I just didn't feel the connection between Jay and Richard.
