When Boston psychic Lucy Valentine finds herself involved in a group of eccentric psychics trying to learn more about their abilities, she is convinced a rare spring heat wave has flushed the crazies out of hiding.

Adding to her theory is her newest client in the Lost Loves division of Valentine, Inc., her family’s lucrative matchmaking firm. He’s an anim

The Good: Things have never been so dangerous for Lucy and her loved ones. This was a super quick, totally engaging read. I couldn't put it down. My favorite in the series. Every detail was important and the plot was very fast paced. I felt Lucy's fear throughout the book. The book wrapped the entire series up so nicely that I believed it to be the last in the series, until that final chapter threw me through a loop. Looks like we'll be getting more Lucy Valentine in the future, with a much ...more
This was another fun, zany installment to Lucy Valentine's life. She has decided to join a paranormal group to try and beef up her "talent" as it were. So far she has had no luck, until one day she touchs and item and think she sees something....a murder. Also with a firebug currently on the loose in Boston, things are about the heat up for Sean and Sam. Can Lucy use her new talent to save the man that she loves? Lucy has all her friends and relatives present in the book. If you haven't read the ...more

I love this series. The books are light and fun with very likable characters and some cute scenes. My favourite part about the books is the animals. I love how much everyone loves them. Lucy and Sean's relationship is adorable. Sean is the perfect mix of mysterious, sexy and an overall great guy. The supporting characters are very interesting and organic to the stories.

I deducted half a star for this book because I was dissapointed with the conclusion of the mystery. It felt forced like

With the help of Orlinda Batista, Lucy Valentine is trying to get control of her psychic powers, and develop more of them. So far, is it a bust though, and the other fledgling psychics under Orlinda’s wings are trying to get her kicked out. As an exercise for them, Orlinda has brought with her the teddy bear of a young girl who has been missing for six years. All of them have seen something of what happened, and Orlinda has confirmed it as truth, but Lucy doesn’t get anything. Add to that a ...more

I chose to take this book with me on our 37th wedding anniversary night at the Clearlake Bed & Breakfast Inn. We were given the 'George Washington' room and I feel he and Martha would have approved of my reading material. So while my husband read about the life and battles of George, I settled in watching the sunset on the lake and sharing the lives of Lucy Valentine and her beloved, Sean Donohue.

Lucy and Sean were also seeing skies of reds and orange. Only their view was of arson set fires
4 1/2 stars. Yay, Lucy Valentine is back. In the best entry in the series so far (and that is saying a lot!) Lucy is trying to develop her psychic abilities by working with a group of fellow psychics. They are working to solve an old missing person's case and Lucy really wants to find the child alive and well. At the same time there is a serial arsonist in Boston who seems to be targeting Lucy's boyfriend,'s Sean, brother Sam. Confusing much. Well it gets better. Lucy has been hired to find the ...more

These books are a lot of fun but I was a little frustrated with this one. The motive for the mystery was pretty lame and I realize this is a book about a matchmaking family but I have to admit that I was getting a little annoyed that every single side character in this book had to be matched up. I guess the Title should have been a tip off, duh. I love the cast of side characters but ALL of them finding their HEA is kind of ridiculous and felt it was taking away from the magic of the main couple ...more

So happy there is another Lucy Valentine book to read! I always love to find out what new thing is going on with Lucy and her family and of course her love life, especially with the family curse and all. I think a person who never read one of these books about Lucy V, could easily just pick this one up and know lots. (it could be a stand alone) I hope to read more of these books in the future!!! Thanks Heather!

Dang you Ms Webber for leaving me hanging like that! I hope this means there is another Lucy Valentine in the works!
As always, Lucy is one of my favorites! The stories suck me in from the very start and I just can't put them down! Great mystery, LOVE the characters!

I love this series! Light and fun! Lots of great romance and friendships! Can't wait for the next one!
This is a quick and enjoyable read. If you like the first three books in the series, you'll like this one too.

I was so happy to get to read more Lucy! Especially since Heather Webber has a talent for leaving stuff up in the air at the end of her books- this one being a prime example.
A lot is happening in this book- Sam appears to have a stalker (or is it Sean?), Preston is in denial about a medical emergency, Lucy can't get her psychic talents to hit the mark, and Em is having a romantic crisis. I enjoy the fast pace and the mix of emotions present in these books. You go from lauging to sighing in seco

The Valentines are back and stirring up more trouble in Heather Webber's latest instalment in the Lucy Valentine mysteries.

Lucy and her family have always had special talents: her dad and brother can read auras, which help them in their matchmaking business. However following a lightning strike as a child, Lucy has a different talent: she finds lost objects. She uses this talent in her business, Lost Loves, to find missing people. Working with other psychics on a cold case (looking for an abduct

Heather Webber has done it again and even better than the first three books in this favorite-of-mine series. It’s a paranormal mystery with more than a hint of romance and I don’t ‘do’ romance as a rule. I make exceptions for some authors and series, this is one of them.

Lucy is working with a team of other Boston psychics, each one with a different ability, to work on her own abilities. She wants to work out the hinks in her ability to find lost objects, she’d like to get better and stronger at
Why the change from mass market paperback to trade paperback? Not only do I dislike paying more, I dislike having books of different heights. Messes up the bookshelf view. (And, no, I'm not changing my rating based on that complaint.)

As to the book itself, no complaints.

As the book opens Lucy is hanging with a group of psychics. They're all working a cold case - an abducted child - in an attempt to grow their abilities.

After the meeting ends, Lucy meets with a new client - a man who claims his

I was glad to find this follow up to the Lucy Valentine mysteries (Truly Madly, Deeply Desperately, and Absolutely Positively). This is another light, frothy entry into the series. In this book, Lucy is working with a group of psychics to try to increase the range of her abilities (her friend Preston describes the group as the Diviner Whiners, which I love). She gets involved in a missing child case, tries to find a make for a psychic who talks to cats, and helps solve a series of arsons that ...more

Enjoyable mystery, easy read, and nice to learn more about Sean's past but ... I felt like it could have been a tighter story and I hate the lead-in ending to the next book (works in manga, usually despise it in regular books) - it's not a cliffhanger, just set up for next book, which is still annoying. Good, just didn't have the sharp edge and amusement I've enjoyed in the earlier books.

I also found that the formatting for the smashwords ePub read very oddly on my Kobo - some bold font paragra

This series is one of my favourites, so when I heard the author was going to continue it by going the self-publishing route, I immediately went and bought the ebook, even though I am one of those that like physical books whenever possible.

Perfectly matched was an excellent book - truly, the plot was just really, really well written. I had no idea who the bad guy was until the very second I read the name on the page. I love the inclusion of the cat in this plot - it adds a bit of fun and a not-so

I have a lot of mixed feelings on this one. It was good, but I don't think as good as her previous 3. And then the ending, I mean it wasn't entirely a cliffhanger, but definitely clear that it's not the end for Lucy. HOWEVER, it was published in May 2012 and we still don't even see plans for a 5th installment. Did she just give up on this series?!

I loved the tie-ins with Ebbie, in fact I loved the cat! And Grendel, I'm a sucker for him as well. But really, the characters were just okay overall.

Since I don't normally write reviews unless I have something specific to say, here's the break down of how I rate my books...

1 star... This book was bad, so bad I may have given up and skipped to the end. I will avoid this author like the plague in the future.

2 stars... This book was not very good, and I won't be reading any more from the author.

3 stars... This book was ok, but I won't go out of my way to read more, But if I find another book by the author for under a dollar I'd pick it up.

I was absolutely thrilled when I found out that the author decided to self publish more installments of the Lucy Valentine series. This series is so fun, I immediately downloaded this book the day it was released. This story starts with Lucy and a handful of other physics trying to develop their abilities in a support group setting. From there we get to meet a mysterious client who claims his cat told him that only Lucy could find his true love. Next we discover that the notorious Beantown ...more

Oh, how I love Lucy Valentine! I am thrilled that Heather Webber decided to continue this series. Perfectly Matched is the fourth book in the Lucy Valentine series and it quickly became one of my favorites.

One of the best parts of the Lucy Valentine books is the way Heather Webber perfectly balances the combination of her character's and their relationships with a mystery in the plots. I was so absorbed by what was going on with everyone that I wasn't even trying to solve the cases Lucy was wor
I was a bit disappointed with the latest Lucy Valentine story. It was fun and quirky like always, but the mystery itself didn't work for me. First, there were a number of other psychics involved, which felt awkward. It's usually just Lucy and her family who have paranormal talents, and I didn't like that the author included some others in this book. Also, the bad guy's motives just didn't make sense. I guess since he was crazy his thinking isn't expected to be very rational, but I wanted it to ...more

Love love love this series, Waiting for the new book for the next story of Lucy Valentine.. I loved already 3 series from this author (as both Heather Blake and Heather Webber), she writes fun, suspense, romantic, cosy mysteries that keeps you interested from page 1 till the end and this one did it again...
The only negative for me was that the ebook format was not consistent i.e. some text in bold and then not ... It did not impact the story but was for me distracting. This was the first time t

The characters in this book. My God. I mean, I literally want to be adopted by the Valentine's, is that too much to ask?

The mystery in Perfectly Matched wasn't as mind blowing as the others in this series, I thought it was too predictable in a 'does-it-always-have-to-come-back-to-poor-lead' way, and the book's master mind behind it all?

On the other hand, the whole story was well put together, and well written -as always I find way too much enjoyment in Heather Webber's writing style. Very sweet
