My 5 yr old who's learning to read loves this book. Has some big words in it, but repetition is key.

While I'm very excited about The Dark Knight Rises: Batman versus Bane I Can Read! I is also very cool to have the classic dressed in blue cartoon image Batman as well. My experiences with Batman are more movie related, however I've caught a cartoon from time to time. What I do not remember is having villains that are beyond human into creatures like Man-Bat and Batman Classic: Reptile Rampage, but the Enginerd assures me these characters have been here and are from the comics. This book is a fabulous addition for early readers.The story, as always, portrays Batman as the savior of the day from a frightening Man-Bat that is rampaging the city. Through vivid and colorful illustrations, early readers are able to submerse themselves into an entertaining story that engages and encourages the reader to want to read more.
