How much did I like Sexiest Vampire Alive??? well here is my facebook status from this morning..."So around 8:00 pm last night I made a pot of coffee and proceeded to drink the whole pot because I wanted to finish reading Sexiest Vampire Alive...I finished it around 3:30 am and loved it!!! But this morning, I'm still jittery as hell ;-"

I liked it but I didn't love it. It was great to finally read Gregori's HEA, he really deserved it. I loved to see how he went from a fledgling to a real vamp-man, LOL. I'm not sure how to explain why I didn't enjoy this one so much, Mostly because the heroine was the president's daughter and the whole thing wasn't taken seriously. I mean, if the president is going to have one of the world's most important meetings with all his staff about something supposed to be top secret, I'm sure h
2 stars for story
.5 stars for narration
Playboy Hot Bod Vampire Gregori has been faced upside the head by the love bug. This bug had a very bad sense of humor, he fixed Gregoi's heart on the President of the USA's daughter. Not the one sen in the media at all the parties but the really smart one who will do anything to save her mother. Bantering, lusting and fighting are sure to come.
I wasn't in like with this edition. First the narration for any of the military men was so awful, whiney weasel so
Gregori became one of my favourite characters ever since I read the first book of the series (only the first book though) so even though I didn't really like the author-style I went ahead and gave this book a try.

Turns out I still don't like the way Ms. Sparks write about her characters. Perhaps I have a tendency to compare her to a certain author who gives their characters more passion and reason so I was certainly not feeling it with this series.

One thing - the characters have really shaky emo
The narrators voice for some of the characters was horrible !

Why do so many of the reviews say that this is humorous? I read this book based on those reviews.
So where's the Funny?!
Instead of funny, I'd say it was lighthearted. Nothing wrong with that. It was actually a cute little story.
I think that my only complaint would be that I thought the ending could have used a little more...something. An Epilogue maybe? (view spoiler)
The video of the big battle in the last book has gone viral, and mortals are starting wonder if vampires are really real. So it falls to the harmless-bottle-fed-never-bit-a-human Gregori to be the poster child for vamps when doing damage control and trying to win the support from the President to officially 'debunk' the videos. However, the President's cooperation is going to come with price - Gregori is going to have to accompany the President's limelight shy eldest daughter Abby on a secret ex ...more
All I really need to say about Kerrelyn Spark's Love at Stake series is More, More, More!!! I absolutely love all the characters that have been developed throughout these books & remain as reoccurring characters so you know how their lives are progressing. This book was no exception to the humorous, exciting, excellent romances of the other books. Yeah, it's not deep literature, but I feel so good when reading these books & always wish there was more at the end. Gregori is so hot & I ...more
A brillaint book.
I would have given this book 5 stars if not for the slow start. I was really worried when I started skimming pages at the beginning because I wanted this book to be incredible. I am happy to say that about 20% in it starts to pick up the pace. I was very happy with it in the end.

Gregori is one of the best hero's in this series. He's drop dead gorgeous for one. But he really wears his heart on his sleeve, even though he is terrified of the consequences, he just blurts out how h
Oh god.

Oh god, oh god why?

Gregori was such a fun and loving man, why did Sparks have to pair him up with stupid and boring Abigail? I can't even begin to say how much I wanted to slap Abigail's face throughout the whole book (I refuse to call her Abby because I REALLY DISLIKE HER).

Abigail was the eldest daughter of America's president. Basically, she had hidden from media and cameras all her life because she was in her worm hole trying to find a cure for her poor diseased mother. It was noble an

OK... I am done with this series so far, They are fast and easy reads with crappy covers and constant regional slang words that don't belong. Rascal yet again mentioned in China and New York. I finally had enough. Everyone is a damn rascal. Whatever!

OTHERWISE... The story was a 4 star read. Gregori and the presidents daughter. Some governmental questions were not resolved as expected, even after they were firmly mentioned. I am not sure if I was supposed to figure it was implied that it was all

Despite having this series on my wish list for a while I had yet to read any of the titles so when this book was offered for review I thought it would be the perfect chance to give it a try. Sexiest Vampire Alive is the 11th book in the long running Love at Stake paranormal romance series. While there is consistency through the series with an overall story arc and inter related characters, each individual book features a new couple so I found Sexiest Vampire Alive worked just fine as a stand alo ...more

Thanks to YouTube and a video showing the decapitation of the Malcontent leader, the secret existence of vampires is no longer quite so secret. Hoping to form an alliance with the U S government, Gregori Holstein is sent to convince the President and his advisors to convince the public the video is fake. Gregori is the epitome of what a young vamp should be, urbane, well educated, suave, gorgeous and totally bottle fed. Gregori has fed exclusively on synthetic blood since his turning and is the ...more
I didnt love this book but I didnt hate it either. For the most part this was interesting to read but there was a lot that made me say "WHAT THE HELL!?". First off let me just say given the title name I was expecting tons of lusty vamp scenes but sadly was only given one! Secondly, Gregori is not the sexiest vampire alive. Sorry but my vote still goes to Eric Northman of the Sookie Stackhouse series. The thing about him that really put me off was the way he talked; "bro" and "chillax" just didnt ...more
I don't where to start first.

Let's just start at the beginning, in this case the herione: Abby Tucker. I lost count how many times I wanted to slap her. To Oh my god, the sexiest man I have ever seen is a vampire, so I can't think of him right now, my mother is dying and I have to find a cure if it kills me first. Girl, it almost did. You were lucky Gregori is a vampire and can heal.

Her little pet name for Gregori, "Gori?" Two words: mood killer. I swear if she had said it one more time I would

If you’ve read the other books in this series then you know who “Gregori the Gregarious” often referred to as a “play-boy” who’s never wanted to settle down. Someone always the life of the party and would always ensure some comic relief in this series from his crazy ideas, to his outlandish self-confidence. Well it’s finally his turn to meet a woman who’ll turn his world upside down, and of all people it’s the president’s daughter! In the last book a video is released of Conner killing Casimir, ...more
Karrelyn Sparks has done it again for me! Every book in this series just makes me love her writing more and more! I enjoy the lightness of it and even the serious moments. She has a way of making you laugh like crazy and even tear up for her characters. Truly unique for me. Ok, so this is Gregory Holstein's book. He is a "young" vampire and the head of the Marketing Department at Romeatech Industries. He is also known somewhat as a "playboy" around all of his friends and people that know him. I ...more
You have got to read this book...Once again Kerrelyn Sparks has outdone herself with a book filled with adventure, humor, romance, cliffhangers, more humor, world travel, espionage, and...(wait for it) HUMOR! Laughed my ass off over the oxymoron of "vampires" and "alive". But it works! Vampires have been outed by a video of good vamps battling bad vamps and the overwhelming vote is to send Marketing genius and playboy vamp Gregori Holstein to ask the President of the United States help in squash ...more

Gregori Holstein doesn't really regret his life as a vampire. Gregori has a reputation for being a womanizer among all vampires. Abby prefers quieter corners and working toward finding a cure for her mother Belinda's Lupus. Abby has plan it's just getting her father to agree to it. Book #11
It just gets more ridiculous with each book but it’s one of the reasons I like these books so much. The last book had angels and demons in it. This one features the President of the United States oldest daughter.

I read books 5-11 of this series over the course of two weeks, so they blend together in my head. All of the books are paranormal romance with some mystery elements. The good thing about this series is that the author varies her romance formula more than most. Another good thing: good guys almost never die. (It's not an urban fantasy, despite the contemporary urban settings.) Worst thing about this series is the silly too-cute book titles. The writing is much better than the titles suggest, and ...more

Kerrelyn Sparks is the New York Times bestselling author of a series that mimics its sexy heroes by refusing to die. Now up to book thirteen, the Love at Stake series spreads laughter worldwide in thirteen different languages. In spite of a tendency to nibble on necks or howl at the moon, Kerrelyn’s vampire and shapeshifter heroes are still wonderfully romantic.

“Girl, are you on medication?” Nurse Debra asked.
“No, of course not,” Madison answered impatiently.
“Maybe you should be,” Debra muttered.”
“Garrett ran a hand through his hair. “How can you stay the head of the Stake-Out team? Isn’t that a conflict of interest?”
“You expect me to stake myself?” Sean growled.
“I’ve got a nice, big one you can borrow,” Gregori suggested.”
