WOW! Gallagher's Hope was SO much better than I was expecting! After reading Gallagher's Pride, the first book in the Gallagher's series, I knew I wanted to read Gabriel's story - as he is by far my favorite of the Gallagher siblings. However, I wasn't expecting to enjoy the story this much! I didn't want to put it down and was able to finish it very quickly! I can hardly wait to read the third book.

For people who are easily offended by cursing, I want to make sure that they know that this book

When I first read "Gallagher's Pride" (the first novel in this series) I must admit that Gabriel was one of my favorite characters. So I was thrilled when I learned that the second novel in the series was going to be his story and I couldn't wait for it to come out. I tend to get nervous sometimes about being too excited for novels because, what if they don't live up to my expectations? What if they lose my interest and I don't really want to read the next installment? Well, I am happy to announ ...more

A good story can have a little bit of romance, a little bit of adventure, and a little bit of mystery all rolled up into one. Ms. McClintock’s Gallagher’s Hope delivers all that and more.

A young woman finds herself alone in the world with just her little brother. Raised in a home with money, she now finds herself penniless. In order to start a new life, she takes a teaching job in Montana. There she finds a home, love, and more adventure than she had ever bargained for.

This story moves at a very

This was a great book. I am not a fan of westerns, but I loved this book because there is so much more to it. This is the second book in the series, and we learn about how the brothers are doing and we learn about how the couple from book 1 is doing. We learn about old rivalries, and new loves. I loved the way the brothers went back and forth, the author made me feel like the story was about siblings I see messing around every day. I laughed at the banter and I cried at the sad times. I especial ...more

This has been my favorite of the Gallagher books so far. I loved the characters of Gabriel and Isabelle, and felt a connection to their lives that pulled me deeper into their stories. This connection, however, would most likely have been lost had I not read the first book in the series, as this story is a direct sequel to the turmoil surrounding the feud surrounding the Gallaghers and Hunters. But that's part of the beauty of the series. They are all dependent

"Author's Note: I fell in love with the Gallagher family from their first words. The characters are flawed, likable, and yes, sometimes infuriating, but they're real and true to themselves. This is more than just a series - it's a western saga, so some questions won't be answered until the end. The series follows the Gallagher's romance, hope, and revenge over the course of several books - each one offering something new."

I felt it necessary to begin my review with words from the author herself

I was given this audio book free in exchange for an honest review. This is the second book in the Montana Gallagher Series by MK McClintock, and I definitely feel like I got more out of it for having read Gallagher's Pride first. It was a lovely continuation for the original story and the "war" going on between the Gallagher's and the man who own's the neighboring ranch. The tension intensifies in this book resulting in dangerous and sometimes deadly consequences for the Gallagher family.

---I received this book in return for an honest review.

Book two is even better than book one! How can this be? This audiobook is full of entertainment. The relationship between Gabriel and Isabel, though happening fast was sincere and beautiful. I have to say the relationship between Andrew and Gabriel made my heart melt. Gabriel took this five year old into his life and made Andrew come out of his shell. Love the scenes between them. I also love that even though Ethan and Brenna's story was boo

I really liked this book even better then the first one. It was a page turner and full of events and surprises. The characters were very real. There wasn't alot of romance, but enough to keep it interesting. I only had a problem with the quick ending. Cliffhanger for sure, but there was to much left hanging to have to wait for book three. Too many questions left unanswered.
Can't wait for Gallagher's Challenge now.

This was the 2nd in a series - 3rd book hasn't been released yet. I enjoyed this very much - BUT I felt the end was so up in the air with 2 separate story lines ????? What is that about? Apparently this book was just recently released, and I am unable to find out anything about the next book coming (Gallagher's Choice). I really need to have some conclusion made on these story lines!!

Narration - Alan Philip Ormond - Really Good! So glad he's continued narrating this series, because I really enjoy listening to him.

I Loved Ethan, but I think I loved Gabriel even more. This is the type of series that I really like. There are new MC's for this story, but we still get to enjoy the characters from the previous book and they continue to play an active role in the story.

So Gabriel meets Isabelle Rousseau, who fled New Orleans with her little brother Andrew, and came to Mon

In this second installment of the Gallagher series, Isabelle has come to Montana with her young brother to take a position as a teacher. But a question of custody regarding her sibling has Gabriel Gallagher willing to enter a marriage of convenience to fulfill a requirement of guardianship. Through a slow courtship, they find a true and lasting love, and the book ends with several cliffhangers regarding the fate of characters from the first book. A sweet romance with sweeping Montana vistas as a ...more
I can honestly say that I enjoyed Gallagher’s Hope just as much as I enjoyed Gallagher’s Pride. This book continues the story of Ethan, Gabriel, Eliza, and Brenna (who I loved) and introduces us to Isabel Rousseau and her brother, Andrew…only this time the story takes on the perspective of Gabriel and Isabelle.

Isabelle is brought into the Gallagher clan in much the same way as Brenna was – these men LOVE to collect women in trouble! In both occasions, I had to slightly suspend belief that these
I do not normally read historical romance books that are set in America. I prefer reading the historical romance book’s set in England. However, after reading this book I might just change my mind at least for this author. MK has written a book that grabs the reader’s attention and refuses to let go.

Isabella is trying to overcome the death of her parents while trying to take care of her little brother Andrew. She has taken a teaching position in Montana. She is moving away from everything she ha

I love MK McClintock's series the Montana Gallaghers! I've read the first one, Gallagher's Pride, the story of Ethan and Brenna, beautiful love story! I decided to read her second book Gallagher's Hope, Isabelle Rousseau and Gabriel Gallagher’s story. I was not disappointed! This author is a talented storyteller and wonderful writer, she is very descriptive. Here is the story! Being without parents, both had died in a tragic death, Isabelle, along with her brother Andrew, decide to m

Ms. McClintock has knocked another one out of the park. The Gallagher saga continues with Gabriel's story, and it couldn't have been better. The story continually builds after the first book, and the characters grew as I learned more about them during a harrowing situation. I love the strength of the family, when they join forces to fight a common goal. Gabriel has qualities - loyalty to family, a drive to do right, a protective streak - that make him the perfect hero. Because of his hero-like p ...more

Great story. Really interesting characters. The themes of revenge and pride are still there. The brothers romance is almost too easy. The romance is good and clean!

Love the Gallagher's! I feel like a part of their ever expanding family. I can't wait for Nathan Hunter to get his just reward in the next book which I will start now. I will be sad for the saga to end. It has been an adventure.

This is the second in this series and it follows the family of Gallagher's and their struggles with a neighboring rancher. I did think it was too short, but looking forward to the next one.

He smiled in reply. "Oh, I'm real Isabelle. I promise you that."
