HOLY FREAKING PERFECTION!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!
OH.MY.GOD!! Karina Halle has completely and utterly blown me away. The emotion and angst in this book is out of control! And God, I loved it!!!!! The comment below was BEFORE I read the book:
Whoever said, "Absence makes the heart grow fonder", was nuts. Absence makes the heart ACHE longer...and the Sept/Oct Nov release of Into the Hollow (Experiment in Terror #6) has never seemed so far away. But, rereading the series helps a little bit and knowing Perry and Dex get out of their cliffhanger situation (I'm trying not to do a spoiler here for ODW, but the synopsis kinda gives it away) helps. I know this next book will be another 5 star r...more

To say that I liked shocking development of storyline at the beginning of this book would be an understatement. I loved it. The one and only thing (person) that I kept missing in previous book in series was back and in full force. And I have to admit that I was swooning over the "improved" Dex most of the time. Dex and Perry finally, albeit somewhat reluctantly for Perry...do SOMETHING smart in regards to their relationship. Though I think spoiling it would be cruel, so I won't. Hah!!! Let me just say that it could be the best thing ever for this wonderful couple who are so badly in need of each other. They do, they need each other SO. BAD. It's not even funny. No one else other than Dex can understand Perry...more

the plot for INTO THE HOLLOW is actually a a rerun of the movie anaconda.with almost the basic story line and stereotypical secondary leads all heading to get lost at the forest...where BIGFOOT happens to hunt.
Ironically enough,dex playing the hero desperately in love with the heroine , Perry who plays the reluctant emo girl dete...more

This book is an absolute treat for any Dex and Perry fan. Their chemistry is dead on. Things are changing fast for Perry…..new home, new powers and a concoction of crazy emotions. And Dex? He's in rare form!!! And Dex 2.0 is OMFG AMAZING....the passion, determination, quips, flirting, jokes...talk about SWOON. How can any woman resist? I could just read this over and over again...more

I completely adore this series and Karina Halle has easily pulled off another winner with Into the Hollow. Perry and Dex are two of the most relatable, real, fleshed-out characters I've come across, even in the freaky, crazy situations they find themselves in. And this book definitely had some freaky situations. Did I mention creepy? Cause there were some great skin-prickling moments - both the good kind and the bad kind. ;)

I always think I can't love Dex any more than I do. And then something like this comes out and I totally swoon over him all over again. He is just so...so DEX! He is like no other and that is what I love about him the most. And this scene especially reminds me of the softer side. And he would be a great father! Let's hope Perry realizes that too.

What to say, what to say... no words I come up with will be able to define how much I LOVE this series & this author.
Karina is the shizz, she totally kicks ass. Dex cracks me up. The stuff that comes out of his mouth... god, I adore him (Twatwaffle, Fatty Rab, Kiddo... he gives the best nicknames). Plus, he is so HOT in this book. I love him being all buff and alpha... go Dex!
Perry is so real. I like going through this journey with her and sorting through all her emotions, it's such a blast...more

I'm sort of at a loss for words here... I think that Into the Hollow is really the breaking point or starting point to what Dex and Perry will be. This is where our dynamic duo can either come to the realization that they're in love with each other or not. It's really that simple.
