Not having read the first book in the Ben Bones series, I was unsure if I would be able to enjoy this entry. Thankfully, the book stands perfectly fine on its own.

The highlight was Ben Bones himself. His descriptions of the events/people around him could bring a smile to my face and even made me chuckle out-loud several times (always a good sign).

The cast of characters around him stood out well enough. The only character who didn't really stick with me was Zera Angelina.
