I really like these short novella's, they have action, sexual tension and conflict. The hero is a werewolf who wants revenge for his family's death and to do that he needs the heroine, dubbed the Blood Queen and who has been under some spell for fifteen years. So he frees her and bonds her to his blood.

Holy wow! I liked this one. Iona is one badass chick who is a little on edge after 15 years of being trapped inside her own body. And if that's not creepy enough... no, never mind. That right there is creepy enough. I mean, she was trapped, awake but unable to move inside her body. That's shudder inducing before the backstabbing and betrayal are thrown in.

I love reading the BOUND series and I’m glad to have found this one.

I realize this series sound like something out of the erotica line but don't fear. Its quite a light average paranormal romance. Despite an earlier storyline from Bound in Death, Bound by the Night have similar plot but more unpolished version of Bound in Death. In this novel, we're introduced to the vampire queen Iona who have been under a curse by a werewolf for 15 years until she was released by another werewolf Jamie who bound her to feed only on his blood.

This was an excellent hot novella full of action with a blood vampire queen (Iona) and an alpha werewolf (Jamie). Ms. Eden does a great job of providing some insight to both Iona and Jamie and pulls you into the story. Jamie wants revenge on Latham, who has killed his family. This story starts out following the sleeping beauty fairytale. The Blood Queen, a very old and powerful vampire, has been put under a spell and as put in a state of “sleep” by a power hungry witch. Excellent novella. Cynthia has such a talent for engaging the reader without having them feel cheated. She gets information to us including back story while keeping the action and plot moving. There have been times where I wished a novella was a novel because I found it lacking. I can honestly say that I've never felt that with one of Cynthia's novellas.

From all the heroines in Cynthia Eden's "Bound" novellas, I definitely think that Iona is the most kick ass. She's the "Blood Queen", been around for hundred of years, and she's also a witch, able to conjure her own fire. Sure, she has been trapped under a curse and needs Jamie's blood to survive ... still, I think she can do fine killing all of her enemies, yes?

I think by now it's no secret that I love Cynthia Eden's writing. This Bound series is no exception. It always amazes me how she can pack so much action and steamy goodness into such a short story.

Another great short story by Cynthia Eden. This one had everything I enjoy in a story. Sizzling romance, mystery, and lots of action. Lots of twists and turns in a great written story. Her stories are fast paced and hard to put down.
Loved the two main characters in this story. Jamie, a hot Alpha male looking to stop the one who destroyed his family will do anything for revenge. Iona, the Blood Queen, has been imprisoned but now free, is looking for her own revenge.

What a great series. I'm pretty sure that every book has brought me to tears at least once in the story. That tells me something, that you can genuinely feel the pain of one of the characters and that is a good thing.
I really liked Iona and Jamie. They each had their issues to work through but they also had a common enemy. I liked how Jamie didn't force Iona, he let her reach conclusions on her own. She may have run a bit too much for my taste, but she also proved that she could perfectly take...more

Although the books in the Bound series are short they move at a quick pace and is filled with sexy vampires and scorching hot werewolves. Eden’s novellas contain the perfect amount of romance, sexual tension and action that comes with a full paranormal romance novel. If you’re looking for a good and quick paranormal romance read, I suggest you pick up Eden’s Bound series.

Bound by the Night is by far the best novella in Cynthia Eden's Vampire/Werewolf series. Jamie and Iona's story is a thrilling love story that will pull you in from the first page! Eden took this series into a new level of Paranormal Romance with her introduction of new characters, new species, and new plot twists! I cannot wait for the next in this series.
Bound by the Night is similar to the other Bound books in the series, so you won’t be disappointed. I really do like how the hero and heroine in the books are dependent on each other physically but eventually emotionally. They are both such strong and independent characters coming together. In this series I really enjoyed Sean as well as Jamie and Iona. Can't wait to read other books by Cynthia Eden!
