Having been a James Patterson fan for many years, I am intrigued by crime novels, both fiction and non-fiction. After reading Ken Lang's first novel "Walking Among The Dead" I was looking forward, with much anticipation to the release of his second novel. Ken does not just write stories, he transports you to the scene of the crime he is called to investigate. You feel as though you are there along side the investigative team observing first hand the horrific and often gruesome crime scenes these ...more

I've always enjoyed crime stories and this series is very intriguing. It's written as the crimes occurred and it transports you to the very scene of the crime. Well written and a true page turner!

Sorry Ken - actually finished this and forgot to update. I won this in giveaway from Goodreads! Thanks Ken. I found the first book but print was soooooo small I ordered on my Nook and read there so I could read in order. It is hard to describe how you feel and the pictures in your mind as you read and know this is not on television this is life. I have them both on my "other" list to re-read at another time but right now I have shared with a friend!

A strange book. Not your usual whodunnit, more a period of time with several cases running together from the one precinct. I enjoyed the feeling of being involved with the hands on approach of everyday policing. A true rating would be 3.5. As many revues state, out of 10 gives a better rating system.

Loved this even more than the first. I hated to see the book end. Very interesting read. I'm a Ann Rule fan but loved this book more than any of Ann Rule's.
