Never in my life have I felt so consumed in a story. I felt it all. The guilt, the jealousy, the sorrow, and at the end of it all I felt the desperation and need to run away from it.

Ms. Roberts has an amazing way of weaving a story to keep the reader guessing at which way the story will go. There are so many twists and turns that you almost get whiplash from the force of the revelations. And boy are there some doozies!!! There More...

HOLY MOTHER OF GOD!

I have not been this excited over a book coming out since Fifty Shades Freed. And no, I am not comparing the books at all because they are not the same. But that is how excited I was for it. And was stalking Amazon like crazy!

Let me start by saying: THANK GOD someone wrote a believable "f*** up" hero!!!

I was so sick of all the Christian Grey/"poor little rich boy" crap, including all the Grey copycats out there (don't have time to list all of them, lol). Honestly, if Christian Grey thinks he's "fifty shades of f*** up" then clearly he's never met Caleb who has viable reason to be totally More...

This book was a great conclusion to the "Dark Duet" series.

The background plot, while implausible, was still executed well and led to a wonderfully climactic finish that I think was worth the whole journey.

I had a few moments with this book in which I felt "up to here" with Livvie's behavior. I didn't throw the book at the wall, but I did slam it on the galley counter of the airplane a few times.

OMGOODNESS!! This book totally and completely blew me away. Shattered my heart in a million pieces. And just when I had given up hope, put it back together again. But with a beat more beautiful.

First off: You cannot read this book without reading book 1 "Captive in the Dark" You will be completely lost and most importantly you won't be able to appreciate what occurs within this book and why. So don't even attempt to try and read this one first.

I read Captive in the Dark this July 4th, not meaning to read it at all but just peek into it and see if I could handle it. I was so lost in the story within the first few pages I completed it that day. With Seduced in the Dark it was different. I knew where the story had ended and where it might go. I have literally just taken my first breath! I couldn't breathe the entire time while reading this. My heart was being put through the ringer and back, then ripped out and stomped on, then put make in and made whole again. It's now swollen, full of love and admiration, for both this series and for the author. I really cannot see how anyone could write so beautifully like this and not make you feel so much in just one sentence, or just one word. I am floored beyond belief.
