I was excited to receive this book as a free ebook. Unfortunately, it was very hard to get through. Let's start with the positives: 1) The author does a fantastic job describing the historic home in Charleston. I felt like I could see it! 2) I liked the author's descriptive language in other parts of the book as well and thought her writing within a scene to be interesting. I won this book from goodreads giveaway. I'm a big fan of paranormal and fantasy like genre so I was really excited to read the book. It had an interesting story line to it and I enjoyed the characters as well. Overall, it's a great book and I can't wait to read more from Naima Haviland.
