The author has a knack for creating tension and suspense, not just to move the plot along, but to develop heated relationships between each of the characters as well.

Okay I admit the title of this book said “Read Me” when I looked at it. I don’t know why but it just kept nagging me. I was a little slow in starting this book. After I read the first chapter I wonder what took me so long to start.
Kate is a very likeable character. She is super with computers and has her own consulting business. She is divorced from an officer of the law and just trying to live her life.

Well, I was proven wrong again. I began this book with the idea that it would not be a big deal, and I may just only like it minimally. The story was good enough, but it wasn't going to be anything truly spectacular. Please notice that I write all that in the past tense. Why? Read on!

Freefall by Susan Rae is a contemporary romance novel with a good storyline, great characters and a mysterious accident that might not be an accident at all.

I felt this book had a rough start just with the way that it was bringing things together. However, the story immediately took off and I was hooked. I chose to read this book because I love a good romantic suspense. This book had both the suspense and romance. I definitely could compare this to a Sandra Brown type book.

He’s faced with the choice of attempting to right the problem by continuing with his flight – and thus potentially endangering citizens – or returning to the runway in what can only be a crash landing. Following the pilots’ code of ethics, he chooses to put only himself at risk rather than innocent people who just happen to live close by the airport.

I need the ability to add 1/2 a star as I would say it was a 3.5 but not high enough for the 4th star. Also before I begin my review I must warn that this book should be read by mature audience as some of the scenes described can get very steamy.

This was a mystery romance read and I truthfully enjoyed the book very much. Character development was spot on as was the pace of the writing and action. I pretty much had the villain picked out before the halfway mark, but there were other characters who threw in a surprise of their own along the way. Free Fall is a suspensful, mystery romance where Kate's brother is in a coma after surviving a plane accident...or was it murder. The author, Susan Rae pens the story with well written plot with good character development. I found it to be an entertaining story that all romance mystery/suspense fans will like.

What a perfect book to read in the summer! Romantic and suspenseful, freefall is a story about a woman whose brother is now in a coma after surviving a terrible plane accident. Or was it an accident?

I really liked this book had suspense, romance, good characters though some could of used a little more development. All in all a very good book.
This book was pretty intense from the beginning -

This book was good, even though I found it very predictable. I always enjoy that Susan's books are placed in the midwest and the areas are familiar to me. I look forward to Susan's next book :)
