This is an excellent reference book for anyone studying the late middle ages. I covers the lifestyle of all social classes from beggar to lord. There are general topics on Education, Public Health, Travelling and Amusements. The later middle ages, according to the author's definition, are the years between the Black death and the end of the fiftheenth century.
