I love this cookbook!! There are beautiful pictures of every single dish. The format is very welcoming. I am so impressed with the fresh ideas using healthy ingredients. There is a recipe index in the back of the book showing what each recipe is good for: anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, disease preventing, immunity booster and/or mind & beauty. There is also a guide telling you the benefits of the various ingredients. It's a great that all of the recipes can be prepared in 3 - 8 steps. I was...more

This book was great. I specifically like the "icons" that show you what the ingredients and the recipe is good for like Ai for anti-inflammatory and IB for immune booster. I have eaten some of the food in the book and they are pretty good. By the way as a refreshing summer drink we made the Mint drink (tonic)under the drink section and it was very refreshing. You can probably spike it with some spiced rum and serve it during a summer bbq at home.

For anyone with an interest in eating better, using food as medicine and a well-stocked natural foods store or nearby Whole Foods, I would rate this book four stars. Some delicious sounding recipes and great information on the different FoodTrients and how they benefit.

Here's a link to my full review and the recipe and pictures for the delicious and refreshing (Strawberry and Peach) Chia Frescas. http://kahakaikitchen.blogspot.com/20...

I transitioned from indulgent eating to healthy eating. This book is my bible for my healthy shift.
It has a guide which indicates the ingredients of the recipe if they are anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, disease preventing, etc!
The photos are really nice. For all who are looking for tasty yet healthy cook book, this is the ONE!

This is an excellent cookbook for those living a healthy lifestyle! If you want yummy gourmet meals, try the recipes in this book. The beautiful pictures for each recipe help so much with creating the dish, presenting to family/ friends, and finally enjoying it! The "Green Tea Noodles with Edamame" is my favorite!!

I got this book from a goodreads giveaway, and I'm happy I did. The recipes are very simple and creative--I think the longest one had only 8 steps. The guide in the back telling you what each 'foodtrient' was good for and which recipe had it was really great--if only more cookbooks had something like it! A lot of the recipes I plan on trying in the future for nicer dinners and such, my biggest wish from the cookbook is if it had some more basic recipes. Spiced rack of lamb sounds great but just...more

Focuses mainly on ingredients (some of which I've never heard of) and has very basic cooking methods. Read the review at Truth Beauty Freedom and Books>>>

Grace O knows how to add flavor AND health to her recipes. Her Green Tea Noodles are yummy and a good detoxing dish. I love the helpful chart in the back of the book and learning about how certain foods can help you defy aging and prevent disease. I have loved every recipe I've tried and can't wait to make more of them.
