A souvenir book of Chicago's A Century of Progress Exposition 1933-1934, this contains color reproductions of a few paintings but mostly photographs which were originally black-and-white but were tinted with colors for this book. Although the fair had been going for a year when this book came out, I suspect most of the pictures predate the official opening in May of 1933, since the buildings are so remarkably pristine and the trees are bare and had to have foliage painted onto the photographs.
