I'm currently taking a tattoo and piercing tour of my TBR pile. Lol

3.25 stars Very average read. It was a good palate cleanser. Characters were likable, but the ending wasn't quite believable. The sex was nice.

This was a good book. It's a novella so it's very short. It had a strong plot line. I enjoyed the characters. The writing style was great. It had me from the very beginning. It only took me about 3 hours of reading to finish it. The only complaint that I have is the fact that it was so short. I would have been happier with an epilogue. I always want to know where they end up.

Sinful Southern Ink by S.J. Drum was such a pleasure to read. Although Jed & Abigail have been working together for three years, it's never gotten past a professional relationship. Plus, Abigail is Jed's boss so pursuing any type of relationship with her is strictly forbidden. However, one night Jed encounters a drunk Abigail drinking away the news of her deceased father.

He can't help, but take her home & look after her until the alcohol wears off. As these two spend time together, feel...more

This is a short, sexy, fast paced story set in the south which I always LOVE to read since I’m from the south. When I came across the synopsis of this book I could not wait to get my hands on it and find out just WHERE and WHAT all Jed had pierced and tattooed. No spoilers, but let’s just say, you will NOT be disappointed.

Abigail and Jed have been working together in her tattoo shop for over three years. Hard to believe they haven’t done the nas...more

I wanted more, more, more of sweet talking, charming Jed Weston, his barbell piercings...in ALL the right places...and his sexy tattoos!! This is a spicy read, but I wouldn't say it's erotic. However, the relationship that ensues between Jed and Abigail, owner of the tattoo shop where Jed works, was sweet, heated, a little angsty and developed quite nicely. It was a satisfying read, but could have been fantastic, had it been longer. It had all the right ingredients and I was sad to turn the fina...more

When you work with someone for three years you think you know them until one day you somehow look at them in a whole new way.

Abigal has had a rough childhood to say the least and has overcome much and has made a new life for herself when things turn upside down but she has an inner strength that shines through.

I've been on the hunt for another book featuring my favorite piercing since I read Brian in Rock Me. Imagine my elation when I came across this one. Tattoos, double barbells in his nipples, and -- gasp -- an apadravya.

Unfortunately, that's about all this book had going for it. And I'm sorry to say that a magical piercing was wasted in this book.

Abigail had not thought of her employee Jed Weston as anything other than a friend and co-worker, but lately she finds herself thinking more about the sexy cowboy and wondering what he would feel like, especially his interesting piercings he has on his body.

Super short story so it's a fast read. Good story premise and I liked the characters. I wish it was longer, but I was happy with the ending.

I'm thrilled everyone wishes this story was longer. You will all be happy to know, the second in the series will be a full length novel instead of a novella. If I would have known I'd receive such an overwhelming response and interest, I would have made Sinful Southern Ink full-length.

The interest in Sinful Southern Ink has been humbling and inspiring, to say the least. This book is the first in the Sinful South Series.

The second in the series, tentatively titled SINFUL SOUTHERN HERO, I'm nearly...more

Sweet, real chars, nice HEA.
Wish there had been more character evolution. Wish there had been more period.

An okay read. Very short story and cost too much on B&N for how many pages there are.

This story left me wanting more. I enjoyed this short story. I loved Abbey's back story and Jed is just alpha enough for me!!

A very enjoyable read however it seems a bit rushed due to the shorter length, a bit longer and it would have been perfect!

The villain in the book is not a person is Abbys feelings.First is her feelings about her dead father, then is the idea of been like her mother aka a woman who does whatever she does with another womans man and third whatever she feels when she sees Jed trying to push whatever-her-name-is away.
If the story was longer than maybe it would be better.Too bad that's not the case though.

3.5 Stars Due to length

This was a good book, but I would have liked it to be a little bit longer (especially for the price). It only took me a couple hours total to finish it. The romance between the H/h was good, the smexin was hot and it had a little bit of drama / an emotional element but not too much. Overall a sexy quickie ;)

I did really enjoy this book and I really liked the characters of Abigail and Jed and the romance between them, I just found the book too short. Nothing much happened. I read it in a matter of hours. I really think it has the potential to be a five star book if it was only longer and had a decent plot twist in it.

A very quick read that I would have loved had it been a full-length novel. Jed was the type of male character that I adore. Abigail annoyed me a little at times, but that is nothing new. I am very hard on female characters.

Enjoyed this, and wouldn't hesitate to read more by this author.
