After the race, NASCAR driver, Jordan went home to his Daytona beach house. He took a shower and hit the sack, only to be woken by Myron, his pooch, crying because he was afraid of the crashing of thunder. Jordan checked the house and returned to bed.

In the morning, he was checking out the beach and noticed something out of place. He went to check it out. As the wind blew the woman's hair from her face, Jordan realized it wasn't seaweed and ran to her side. She was alive, but wouldn't wake up. H

An enjoyable, quick read. Nothing too heavy but has enough to keep the reader interested.

As I've said in some of my other reviews, some books remind me of the many "B" movies of the 80's. This one reminds me of a BAD "B" movie. The ones where the budget is even lower than normal, and the acting a bit worse than normal, and I won't even mention the editing. This book is very simply written with repetition in the descriptions of people that are unnecessary and seem like an effort to flesh the story out. It is the story of a young man who finds a woman washed up on the beach near his home. She of course has amnesia and struggles to get her memory back. It boggles my mind that in this day and time he would take her in rather than call an ambulance or other medical care. The story evol ...more

I received this from a First Reads giveaway. I enjoy romance novels once in a while; this one reminded me of a B movie. Some information tended to be repeated throughout the novel. Also certain things just did not make any sense, something people nowadays would not do. Other than that it was enjoyable.
