Bear nearly kills her…

And on that fateful day, Simi resolves to trust in Cougar, to listen to her animal counterpart and learn to value her dead-on instincts. So they run. As fast and as far as their legs can carry them. Away from Bear’s abuse and the miserable life they’ve led. Sadly for them, with little money in hand, it isn’t nearly far enough.

For weeks, Simi and Couga

Never corner a cat

This is the kind of story that just sucks you in and won't let you go. Right from the start, when we first meet Simi, we know that she's been through some things. She is running. She is a cougar shifter hiding in plain sight from her abusive ex, Malcolm, a mean spirited bear shifter. Simi's character is heavy with backstory, with depth and with emotional stickiness. As you read her story, you can viscerally feel what she has been through and you want things to be better for her
Love wolves :)

3.5 sorry it was a very interesting book. Short but interesting again. Why I gave it 3.5 stars for the Alpha Male. The Cougar, not much; Still a fan of the the author.
