I received this book free from Goodreads.
Children of the Titanic is a softer version of life on the Titanic as seen from the eyes of 3 children representing the 3 classes on board. The book is very informative as it has photographs, other interesting info of the ship, the period, as well as a glossary. The front cover has a wonderful illustration of the ship. This book was written for children but adults will find it very interesting also.

The photos and captions in this book are true and excellent.

If you don't read the fine print at the front of the book, you may think you are reading about true stories aboard the Titanic. The stories and names are made up and told along with true facts about the ship, voyage, and accident.

There is enough information available about people who were on the ship, including families, to provide true stories.

This a different view then most about the Titanic because it was from three children on the ship from the three different classes. Although this was a work of fiction, I could easily believe the children's stories. The book also contained many true facts about the titanic. An excellent book for children because it is not too graphic. I received this free from a Goodreads giveaway.

Children of the Titanic is a wonderful book for all ages. Although it is a fictional account as told by three children from 3 different social classes it is very well written and documented. There are wonderful photos and illustrations which add as a nice addition to the book. I reccomend this book to everyone who is interested in the history of the Titanic.
