A much different style book than the other books in the Fight Card series, but one that is totally enjoyable and fun to read.

An excellent book and a great addition to the Fight card series. Kevin Michaels takes a turn as jack Tunney and gives us a tough and exciting story with a 1950's rock and roll beat. It's a well-written sto ...more

Kevin Michaels has written a winner! The book is an incredible tale of a boxer who has seen better days in and out of the ring. It is a real page-turner, written in the style of the old classic boxing stories, but it is consistently fresh and never does it stagger around the literary ring. The words and their story are concise. Don't let this fool you. They absolutely pack a wallop! I could not put this book down. It is that good. The ending is the one-two punch you don't see coming. I urge any ...more

Great pulp feel along with a 50's rock and roll beat.

An abrupt and unsatisfying conclusion to an otherwise wonderful entry to this boxing series.
