Lt. Cameron Bradshaw is an adrenaline junkie. You have to be to be a navy fighter pilot. It would never occur to him that his new lover, Dr. Mason Flynn, would think buying a new motorcycle to replace the one that was destroyed in his near fatal accident, was an insanely stupid idea. A vicious argument, an opportunity to cheat and some mistaken assumptions lead to worry an ...more

Another fantastic hurt/comfort read from AR Moler. This one includes a bit of the paranormal which spices things up quite nicely. The two MC's, Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Mason Flynn and Navy Fighter Pilot Lt. Cameron Bradshaw, have psychic Talents. Mason is a Healer and Cam is a Finder. You'll have to read the book to find out more about those Talents.

Seeking the Balance is the second compilation book in a series of books based on these characters. The first is Hell Dogs Squadron and the last is Ze

This book was originally published separately as three chasers. The story follows straight on from the previous book Hell Dogs Squadron. Cam has recovered from being forced off his motorcycle and decides that it’s time to get back on the bike. When Mason sees him, he’s furious and they have a huge argument. Later in the book Cam and Mason are sent into a potentially dangerous situation. Mason is coping with the frustration that his healing powers do not seem to be enough to cure a small boy of c ...more

This is the second book in the series about healer and surgeon Mason, and Finder and pilot Cam. I liked this couple together in the first 3-novella installment Hell Dogs Squadron, and enjoyed watching them become a real couple in this one. The disconnects between the three component novellas were smoother here, making it read more like one novel.

The paranormal aspect is well handled. The characters are engaging, with a nice aspect of hurt-comfort and two men whose professions are integrated tho

I wasn't as invested in this one as I was the first series (Hell Dogs Squadron). On the one hand focusing on the everyday normal problems of life together was a nice touch but it felt like the majority of the book was taken up by that, learning to ride a motorcycle and dealing with Mason's healing ability - which left little room for the mystery or case or whatnot (which wasn't resolved). Thankfully the relationship is progressing at a comfortable pace but seeing as this is set during D

Overall I liked this one almost as much as its prequel - Hell Dogs Squadron, but there was that one scene at the beginning, when after Cam and Mason had an argument and they didn't communicate for 6 days, Cam's pals invite him to the bar and there's Cam's fuck buddy Sonja and he gets all hot and bothered with her and actually considers sleeping with her, and kisses her and THEN he remembers about Mason and how he cannot do it, because he's 'with someone'. Damn! I was so pissed off, I put my erea ...more

Not nearly as good as the first book, Hell Dogs Squadron. The strength of the first book was the action sequences; Seeking the Balance lacks those. I confess I skimmed the sex scenes. For some reason I just didn't connect with these two MCs.
