I'd completely abandoned IDW's Transformer line a couple years ago, I found the plot lines to be over reachingly complex and poorly executed, and the characterization such that disliked just about everyone. But their new dual titles looked to be a fresh start, still the same continuity, but an entirely new direction. I decided to give it a try nearly on a whim, and I've been pleasantly surprised.
