Since Simon Furman's initial IDW run was meant to be "Ultimate Transformers," I dub James Roberts' work "All-Star Transformers"--it is as powerful, elevating and moving a depiction of giant robots as Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely's work was of the Last Son of Krypton. Robot psychiatrists! Robot junkies! How to sell your alt-mode! Robot apartheid and war crimes and freedom fighters and best of all: what do Autobots do on shore leave?
