It was pity that first made Dannie speak to him. She had known Ryan since she was a kid, but he had always been the popular Golden Boy, and she had always been the tomboy that didn’t mind not having any friends. It was odd, she had thought, that all the popular kids who had once kissed the ground he walked on, didn’t so much spared him a glance anymore, and it was this ...more

Late Summer Rain was a story I found in Wattpad just a few hours ago. So, I was searching for stories and ended up with this one. And though, I gotta admit that when I looked at the book cover and the description myself I thought- Wow, this can be a fun read. So yeah, I read it anyways.
And when I read it, it was really nice. I was hooked from Chapter one to the end. The story itself was really beautiful and the chapters were well written. The plot of the story was also nice. Though it was not a

Just to say - never, and I mean NEVER listen to "Where the Streets Have No Name" after you read this!
Ryan and Dan are my TOP favorite couples. I cried harder than I cried for TFIOS. They were both going through the summer list and doing it together. They're OMFG together. I loved Ryan and oh god! Tears:-( ughh! Anyways wow loved it <3

Late Summer Rain is a short romance tragedy story that was published on a site called Wattpad by the user AubreyEatsHearts. It starts off with a curious and adventurous tomboy named Dannielle (Dannie) who befriends a boy named Ryan who fell all the way down to the bottom of the social ladder because he shunned his popular friends. One day Ryan shows her a list that has "to fall in love" scribbled on it, which she finds peculiar. After they get let out from school and onto summer break

SOUND,if CLOUDs made sounds they would sound electric don’t you agree? .COMpletely.
/Once upoN A time there waS a cloud That never crIed, its fellow-cloud friends felt something must be AmiSS/ with it. For it was normal for clouds to cry for at least 2 houRs a day. Rarely however, every now and then, crying would only take place 2 times a week. But even on scarce tear days, clouds cried more than Faskin, the tearless cloud, did.

I read this on Wattpad one or two years ago. I was new then and I found 'Late Summer Rain', I finished it in two hours. By the end of story I was bawling my eyes out. For two days I was thinking about the whole story and slightly kinda depressed. I haven't read after that but it is my one of my favorite stories, just can't go through that again. It touched me.
Hats off to author! It's a must read.

Tp terus terang buku ini mengingatkan aku bgt sama bk si jane harvey berrick - playing in the rain yg gw baca 2 bulan lalu, kedua cerita ini bener-bener mirip :

1. ada 10 list yg di bt oleh kedua author walo tdk semua sam

Holy fudge, this book had me cry a river... Late Summer Rain is a story you can find in Wattpad. I found it when I was surfing for Romance and it was on #1 and I said 'Why not give it a try?' and to this day, I do not regret that decision. Definitely one of my favorite books!

The story revolves around Dannie 'the tomboy girl' and Ryan 'the school's It-Guy'. When I read the description I thought it was going to be one of that cliche story, but it didn't. Well, sort of. Sure, the ending was just as

Wow. If any short story deserves 5 stars then it's definitely this one. The ending is heartbreakingly beautiful.

The two characters: Dannie the tomboy, and Ryan the boy who "fell 50 feet down to the ground, from 'most popular' to something that was equal The Black Plague." Dannie isn't the usual shy or tomboy-ish girl who puts on this one "perfect" dress to impress this boy, oh no, she may put one on and the heels to go with it, but she trips, falls, and stumbles along the way (and ruins the dre

Late Summer Rain Is a "Short Story" It can be found on Wattpad under the username by Aubreyeatshearts. Dannie is a tomboy with not to many friends, and Ryan is a "pretty boy" who was on the top of the "popularity scale" but soon plummeted to an social outcast. The two sit together one day at lunch, Dannie having some pity on Ryan she finds it hard to believe that someone so "popular" could end up with no friends at all. Dannie stumbles upon Ryan's bucket list (things too do before summer ends) ...more

So today I started look for books on wattpad, since I was bored. Read a few chapters of this and that until I came across this. It's been in my library for the longest while and I've been avoiding it for God knows why.
It's a very good book. Could use some editing here and there, but I realy like it none the less.

This was going along so sweetly...I never saw it coming. Wow! Hats off to Aubrey for putting her work out there...I enjoyed this so much and would love to read something else by her. This is one of the most beautiful and heartbreaking books I've ever read, and it's definitely going to my all time favourites. Whoever doesn't have a Wattpad account should make one just to read this.

If I had to be honest, I'd say it kind of reminds me of A Walk to Remember. Only reversed, and much, much shorter. At the same time, it's so much more different than Sparks' book. This is the only spoiler I'm going to give, because I believe people just won't get into the book if they know what's go

This is a heartbreaking short story. I was in tears after reading this book and my mother asked are you insane to cry over a book. But only a true reader knows what kind of power a book can force on us. The day where Dannie starts to help Ryan to help him finish his top 10 to-do list. Everything was going fine in that summer until one day. That day where he proposed to her and that same day she find out he got a freaking brain cancer which will hunt him until the end of that summer. Days went ...more

How to describe this...? Hmm lets see AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL, BITTERSWEET, HEART WRENCHING...yep I think that covers it.

I absolutely loved Late Summer Rain! Anytime I read a short story it usually feels rushed and scattered, but this is nothing close to either of those. It is a beautiful story of two teenagers who fall in love, but when their love is faced with the ultimate test they must find a way to work through it...together. This is one of those books that you will never forget, and it will sta

Read this on Wattpad. I never knew this was on Goodreads, but never late than never!

This is my favorite book from Aubrey, which might be odd considering this is only a novella. But I felt the length was just right; there was enough character development, the plot flowed at a good pace, and the ending, while expected, was still nicely done.

Anyone who hasn't read this needs to give it a try, it's short enough to be a quick but great read.

P.S. Can I seek compensation for the tears shed while readin

I discovered this story on Wattpad a few days ago. I read it out of sheer curiosity, and I don't regret the experience at all. It surprised me a lot because the characters were unexpected and the story was unexpected. In eleven chapters, the author had you hooked and connected to your characters, so that towards the end, you would be heart broken. Which is exactly what happened to me. I fell in love with the character Ryan, and when he died, I cried. The first time I'd ever cried for a book. A ...more

So I discovered this book on Wattpad a few months ago, knowing I'd have a nice short read for the day. Maybe nothing to serious, a summery read.

Although it did take place in summer, it not only exceeded my expectations but also changed my perspective on stereotypes and life.

It seemed very sweet and to the point most of the chapters, but the last few..... phew.

Let me just say I bawled, curled up on my bed like the social butterfly I am.

If you read Late Summer Rain, be prepared to wake up. :)

Wow, that was quick! Now I know why it's not published. Wattpad or not to wattpad, I'll give it another try though.

A quick game of Never Have I Ever:
Never have I ever dropped a book after the first chapter

(sorry to be so harsh, but really, after years of reading books - good and bad - this isn't even in the league of normally bad books. It's that poorly written. I like the premise of the book, but MY GOD, the writing!)

This book, even if it's short, is very beautiful. The story itself is beautiful and it was beautifully written. And for me, after reading it, I just though that it was like a combination of Nicholas Sparks' Message in a Bottle and A Walk to Remember and that just added to the feeling I got when I read this. Definitely a good book to read and I'm just glad I came across it in wattpad. :)

The plot of this story reminds me mostly of A Walk to Remember. Though I still enjoyed reading this short story.

The pure love between the two characers is both sweet and heart breaking. I enjoyed this reading this.

So if your looking for a quick romance story that will pull your heartstrings and make you want to cry, read this on Wattpad.

I cried when I read Ryan's letter at the end, I knew it will end like this after reading about The 10 List he wanted to do during the summer.

Really love the ending, it was really sweet yet so sad too.
This book is a short story that doesn't take long to read and definitely won't be regretted. It was SO good and I loved it!! It was definitely bittersweet, but it was such a cute romance and it also was sad at some at some part and made me tear up at the end. It was definitely one of my favorites.
