Amy Flurry's Recipe for Press is full of ideas that, once encountered, seem like ones you *should* have thought up yourself but didn't. Excellent book for small-business owners. Amy Flurry knows her stuff. As a seasoned editor, I can say for sure that Amy's book holds the key to getting your business in front of editors. If your product is worthy of editorial consideration, then you very well might get some press with Amy's help.

This quick but informative read is perfect for anyone who runs a business and needs to know the basics about the proper way to get the attention of press. Actually, not only get the attention but build a relationship with members of the press.

Besides the helpful info and the obvious expertise of the author, Amy Flurry, Recipe for Press consists of interviews with charming and successful entrepreneurs as well as a really cool book design.

Recommended for sure.

This is one of the most useful books I have ever read. It's all about DIY pr and how to approach editors and producers in a way the offers useful content for them and mucho ink and screen time for you and your product. Everybody wins!
As a news assignment editor, I wish it was required reading for every PR or journalism program.
