I went into this book with the assumption that it would be a bit like the film 27 dresses. The title kind of gave me that impression and because I really loved that film you could say I sort of got over excited. But as per usual the title was kind of deceiving.

Audrey Regan has been into designing wedding dresses ever since she was a little girl, when she was just nine years old, her friends were busy playing with Barbie dolls, Audrey was creating “haute couture” for her dolls, so it’s not surpri

I love this series! Mrs. Bricker brings the characters to life and makes you fall in love with them. They all became part of my "family". I was rooting for them and cheering them on, crying and laughing with them.

I had a bad headache when I started this book, so I didn't expect to read much into it before falling asleep, after taking my medicine. However, I was sucked in and kept telling myself "One more chapter...I can do one more chapter." Before I knew it, I glanced down & it said I was

There is something about the “Emma Rae” collection of fiction novels that makes me smile, giggle and upon the close of that last page, give just a tiny sigh delight and comfort…like enjoying a yummy plate of your favorite desert. Decadent, with just the right amount of fluff and sweet.

Oh there isn’t much to worry about, but having an old fashioned good time with this latest installment in the Emma Rae collection. Audrey is such a loveable, quirky character and one that you just can’t help but c

I liked the interplay between the group of main characters as well as their continued development and growth from the previous book I read. The main characters Audrey and J.R. were not your typical, run of the mill couple falling in love and their somewhat quirky characters provided some interesting dynamics. I did feel though that the storyline sometimes got sidetracked in all the subplots of the minor characters.

Here, I have to confess that I am an absolute sucker for entrepreneurial chick lit. So I'm biased.

You might think that the whole series qualities, which I suppose is true, considering that it centers around the businesses of the two original protagonists, and everyone else's businesses as well. But what I'm REALLY a huge, huge sucker for, is chick lit books in which the protagonist's business struggles are a central part of the plot. Emma Rae never struggles; everybody loves everything she touc

I know after you've read a couple of the books in the series by Sandra D. Bricker, Never The Bride, you would think there would would be no more surprises and it would get old. No such thing! I really enjoyed this series and each time I found another in the kindle version and got it I really enjoyed it. This one starts with Audrey making wedding dresses for all of her girl friends Barbie dolls. She has her Grandmother helping her design and decorate them and then she is off and running! As a fan of the previous two books , when I learnt that Book #3 was being released I knew I just had to read it and I would enjoy it. In Book #3 Carly is getting married to Devon at the Tanglewood Inn where Emma will be baking the Cake and Sherrilyn is the Wedding Planner so all that is missing now is the Wedding Dress Designer - Enter in Carly's best childhood friend Audrey. The pair's friendship is the same as we discovered between Sherrilyn and Emma in Book #2. Audrey, ready to make her frien ...more

Always the designer never the bride Book Review
Always the designer Never the Bride keeps the laughter going and the tears rolling, funny, romantic and damn well crazy. This book introduced a litany of characters that you can’t help but fall in love with. The third in the series, though I read as a standalone, this book brings to life every girls dream.

The book is set at the The Tanglewood Inn, a wedding destination hotel in historic Roswell, Georgia. The book brings to life Audrey Regan crazy

Sandra Bricker calls her fiction "LOL" or Laugh Out Loud Romantic Comedy for the Inspirational Market. I believe with the third installment of the "Always the... Never The Bride" series, Bricker has struck laugh out loud literary gold.

The novel, Always The Designer, Never The Bride, joins the others in the series - set at the The Tanglewood Inn, a wedding destination hotel in historic Roswell, Georgia. The novel continues the humorous adventures of Emma Rae and the crew (as previously published

I picked this book by chance, never having heard of it. That's good. Had I known beforehand it was Christian romance, I probably would not have picked it up.
When reading it, I felt in a world in between that of Care Bears and Noddy, where most people are nice, super friendly and welcoming to each other. However the core of the story delt with the feeling of failure and difficulties that Audrey encounters with her business that she might well have to shut down bankrupt and her encounter with the

So far, my favorite in the series! Welcome back to The Tanglewood Inn, all your old friends are there. Emma and Jackson are still engaged, Sherilyn and Andy are still hosting BBQ's in the winter, & Fee and Sean are still going strong. Then there are the singles, Russell Walker is back and we get to know J.R. better. And what would we do without Aunt Sophies words of wisdom, even if they are giving under somewhat questionable states of sanity. The new commers for this book include Carly and D ...more

This book is supposed to be about RJ and Audrey. I felt it wasn't. It is about Audrey's business and just about every other character in the book. I didn't feel like I learned anything about RJ.

Ok, so that is really my big beef. How are you supposed to engage in a book and support the romance if you are seeing everybody's romance but the one your supposed to be focusing on. I felt like the two main characters never got the spot light enough to show the relationship advancing. You were told it w

This didn't work either and I'm not going to read the rest in the series. It did the same thing to me the second book in this series did: absolutely nothing. I just like books that change my view on life.

This is part of a series and it has been a long time since I first read Always the Baker Never the Bride and I am not sure where in the other titles this one falls. That could explain part of my confusion over all the different characters in the story. There are friends, friends of friends, spouses or soon to be spouses coming and going.

Audrey Regan is the main character. She has spent three years trying to make a name for herself in New York as a wedding dress designer. She has made many dresse

The hilarious gang from The Tanglewood Inn are back, and everyone will enjoy this title as much as all the extremely funny ones that came before!

This story follows Audrey Regan - a girl who used to design haute couture for her Barbie dolls when she was only nine-years-old. Audrey loved separating crystals and beads with her grandmother, even though her sister, Carly, used to get into all the little boxes and mess everything up.

Audrey is all grown-up now with a company of her own; she designs the

Sandra Bricker has done such a great job with this series. The books are full of emotion, with positive relationships between friends and lovers. It's good to read about friends who build each other up! It's also good to read about people in love who have a respectful relationship---one with no drama. I love that about her writing.

Audrey is a wedding-dress designer (doesn't that sound like a fun job?) and has committed to make her best friend Carly's wedding dress. Audrey's business is failing a
