With a fuzzy tarantula spider and enticing title on the cover of this small-sized book, readers will be drawn into it right away. Each page has an interesting fact about various food items or animals used for food as well as decribing what makes the food dangerous. Sometimes, as in the case of the durian, the problem is simply its off-putting smell, but in other cases, as with nightshade, the leaves and berries are what noshers need to watch out for.
