Wonderful intro on how one can develop a sense for art viewing. Lightly written, yet covers lots of ground. I enjoyed the ride through time, space, personal stories, and pieces of art

I'm very much enjoying this book. I'm a sucker for books by museum directors and this one is well-written, provocative and quite engaging. After taking a connoisseurship course in grad school, the whole concept of quality has become an intriguing topic for me.
