This book starts out with one of the hottest scenes you could want in a first chapter. Joy, an artist, is helping her Uncle out with his special effects company that’s working on a Hollywood movie blockbuster. Joy is asked to paint a body tattoo on one of the actors, an actor she assumes is an extra comes in and she’s instantly attracted. With all the man’s makeup on she can’t tell who he is, only that she’s drawn to him and gives him one steamy blow job after working them both up into a frenzy painting his body tattoo on. Little does she know she just got up close and personal with the lead actor and Hollywood’s “IT” man Everett Hughes, but when the still unknown to her actor stands her up later that night, she tries to crush the disappointment that sets in and instead moves forward, focusing on herself as she’s been recently diagnosed with cancer.

Flash forward fourteen months later, Joy has relocated to Chicago away from her only family, her Uncle Seth, and underwent all her cancer treatments alone. She watched her mother fight cancer for years before finally seeing the disease take her life and she doesn’t want anyone she loves to deal with what she had to as a young girl watching her mom. Her dad bailed on them so it was just Joy and her Uncle. She’s now healthy and working as an art teacher in Chicago when Everett runs into her while he’s in town for his movie’s premiere. She realizes pretty quickly that he was the man she painted over a year ago and he’s been thinking about her ever since.

What I loved most about this couple was how easy they were to simply like. They cleared up the misunderstanding of Everett standing her up and agreed to a date. Their romance takes off from there, they date, they get closer and they have some hot sex. Everett is a little bit dominant, he likes Joy to be restrained and he pushes her into not necessarily new situations, but certainly new feelings. She feels raw and exposed after each time they have sex, the connection between them hits her deep and she’s just not used to it. She’s used to living her life alone, she keeps her cancer a secret from Everett, not wanting him to know what she went through and the fear she has of it recurring. She has vowed to keep the people she loves away from that part of her life. Her Uncle, who loves her so much, has been kept in the dark about most of it, and she refuses to tell Everett. For me, reading about a lead character dealing with an illness isn’t something that I usually pick up. I like to read to escape reality and having a heroine deal with cancer, while it’s incredibly emotional and shapes who Joy is, it’s just not something I like to see the characters go through. That said, I thought the topic was well done. It felt really only prominent at the very end, otherwise, it’s a part of Joy, her feelings and emotions regarding it are described throughout, but the main story focused on her and Everett’s relationship and how it could ever possibly work between an artist and Hollywood’s leading man.

“Joy,” he muttered. He bent and covered her mouth with his own. As if his kiss gave her permission, she began to touch him everywhere, sliding her palms along the sides of his ribs, molding his back muscles to her palms, testing to see if the trail of hair down his taut abdomen felt as silky as it appeared.

It did. It also made Everett groan into her mouth and seal their kiss. She glanced up, her first and second fingers dipping beneath his waistband, pausing when she saw the glint in his blue-green eyes.

“Let’s get you out of this dress,” he murmured. She felt his hand at her shoulder. Instead of immediately pulling on the cotton straps, he toyed with them for a moment, running the cloth between his long fingers. For some reason, his actions made liquid heat surge between her thighs. When he eventually did pull at the material, releasing the bow, he smiled. But the time he’d untied the other strap, she breathed raggedly.

“It’s like unwrapping a priceless present,” he said, devilish grin in place.

Everett is such a likable hero. He’s grounded, he lives a crazy life in the spotlight but all he really wants is the life his sister has: marriage, kids and place to call home. He believes he may never find it but when Joy comes into his life he becomes certain that he can’t ever let her go. Their sex scenes were erotic and just plain sexy but also packed with so much emotion. It’s an addictive combination to read when the characters have you fanning yourself on one page and grabbing a tissue on the next. I simply loved getting to know this couple, both as individual characters and together.

This is book 2 in Beth Kery’s One Night of Passion series, but absolutely reads as a stand alone. It’s a well done, emotional story about two somewhat unlikely people finding their home with each other. It’s sexy, it has moments that tugged at my heart and I was so satisfied with this couple’s happy ending. A definite must read.(less)

Exposed to you is a character driven story. Readers will fall in love with Everett and Joy the moment you read the first paragraph. These characters are sensational craft and pop from the page. Kery has a way of placing her readers into the core of the story. I love the feel that I am participating in the journey and not standing on the sideline feeling like a voyeur. Everett and Joy’s sexual gymnastics is an atomic nuclear explosion every time their lips touch.

EXPOSED TO YOU is addictive in every way with characters that even after I finished reading are resonating in my psyche. Kery writes riveting characters, dialogue that grabs your heart, a magnetic prose wrapped in an intense story that you just will not want to put down. It is no wonder that Kery is an award-winning author with books that pack a full adrenaline-charged punch. EXPOSED TO YOU has everything a reader wants in a romance, but Kery adds that little bit more to send her readers over the edge.

The book opens with Joy Hightower, a rather private young woman who teaches art to gifted high school students, walking on to the movie set of an upcoming blockbuster fantasy film, Maritime. She's come at the call of her uncle Seth who heads the makeup department. He's understaffed and needs Joy, a talented makeup artist in her own right, to finish a tattoo for him. Joy listens to his request in a bit of a daze. She's just come from a doctor's appointment where she's been told she has metastatic B-cell lymphoma. Joy agrees to help out and finds herself painting on the torso of a gorgeous creature - the top half of his face is completely covered by a mask and more makeup. The man's body is stunning, and as Joy begins to paint his abdomen, she becomes aroused. He, only wearing very minimal stretchy briefs, does too. The atmosphere between the two of them becomes saturated with desire and by the time she finishes the tattoo, Joy longs to touch him intimately. She does - with his permission; she doesn't know his name - and the two share the most erotic experience of their lives. They agree to meet at the end of the shoot but the man - the reader knows he is Everett Hughes, the star of the film - doesn't show and Joy walks off the set and into "the reality of a harsh world."

Fourteen months later, Joy has left LA, moved to Chicago, gotten over her cancer, and is teaching at a new school. One day, she's having coffee with two of her colleagues, Max and Sarah, when Sarah gasps. The world's most famous movie star - Everett Hughes - has just walked into the cafe. He's in town for the Chicago screening of Maritime. It's not until he walks straight up to Joy, calling her name, and reminding her that they've met before - "You gave me the starburst tattoo." - that Joy realizes she'd gone down on Everett Hughes. ("I thought he was an extra," she tells her friends as he stares at her.) Everett asks Joy if he can speak with her alone and asks her why she never met him. The two realize they both waited for hours at different places on the set. Everett asks her to be his date at the Chicago premiere of his movie - it's the number one film in the country - and Joy, despite thinking he is literally out of her world, agrees.

The two begin sexual relationship almost immediately, one in which Everett calls the shots. Joy keeps her cancer diagnosis a secret from Everett - she's told almost no one about her past illness - a choice that allows her to keep a part of herself separate from the tsunami of desire and need that Everett overwhelms her with. Everett is obsessed with Joy; she brings something to his world that his fame, looks, money, and talent do not. He's not even sure what that is, he just knows he wants Joy more than he's ever wanted anything. I found his focus on her somewhat unbelievable and at times, a little creepy. He knows Joy has put up barriers against him, and for most of the book, he uses his sexual power, talent, and dominance to break down her defenses. This trade-off could have been interesting - Joy has the power in the emotional part of their relationship while Everett has the power in bed - but it didn't quite work for me. Joy's power comes from a stubborn refusal to let anyone get close to her because she rationalizes, if her cancer comes back and she dies, it would be too painful for those who care for her. This frustrated me because it is clear her distance is just as painful for those around her - her Uncle, her friends, and Everett. She's not strong as much as she is fortified by fear.

I also found Everett hard to connect to. He's the world's biggest star, handsome beyond belief, a perfect brother, Tantrically fantastic in bed, lovely to all - I just didn't buy him as remotely real. He is the stuff of fantasies and seemed out of place in this love story which is grounded in Joy's every day life. He and Joy, well, that relationship would only ever exist in fiction.

As I think back on reading Exposed to You , what I recall the most is being impatient. There's lots of sex, but with the exception of the fabulous blowjob, the sex scenes seem slow and almost too clinically described. Outside of the sex, not much happens. Joy pulls away, Everett uses sex to pull her close, the reader keeps wondering when on earth she's going to tell this man she'll let do anything to her that, hey, she's a recent cancer survivor and still a little freaked out from the whole "I realized I could die" experience. I appreciated her fear, but couldn't become invested in her happiness or future with Everett.

I have enjoyed Ms. Kerry's other works - Sweet Restraint is one of my favorite erotic novels. Exposed to You didn't engage me or arouse me in the way that other Kerry works have. Except for that first chapter. That is worth reading. I give Exposed to You a C.

Fast forward a year and Joy has moved to Chicago to start over after a medically rough year. She runs into her Hollywood extra--but he looks a lot like Everett Hughes! There's still a strong attraction between the two, and this time they go even further with that attraction than the last time. Joy wants to think of it as only a fling--after all, what would a big star like Everett want with someone like her? Joy is careful not to let herself fall for Everett, and keeps part of herself closed off, including a big secret about her health. Everett wants to be more than physically intimate with Joy--he wants to really get to know her, but he can tell Joy is keeping a part of herself hidden. Oh wow, this was a hot one! Usually a Hollywood star as the hero wouldn't excite me, but Everett...what a man! Passionate, sensitive, understanding, and just a little dominant. I think I fell in love with him. And Joy, well, she had it rough, and I could definitely see why she held herself back from Everett--she was afraid it was too good to be true! I really enjoyed their story--they had major, major chemistry, but Joy did try my patience a time or two. I wanted her to be up front with Everett about her health--I knew he wasn't the kind of guy to cut and run, and I just wanted Joy to trust in their relationship.

So glad to see Everett's sis and brother-in-law--Katie and Rill (Addicted to You) in this one, as well as old flame Jennifer (Bound To You)--loved catching up with them. I love Beth Kery as a storyteller, she gives you so much background on the characters that you really get to know them. And where she really excels is in the sex scenes--very steamy, passionate... the heat just comes right off the pages. Not many do it better than her.

If you're looking for a fast paced, super-steamy emotional read, with a hero who's to die for---look no further. Beth Kery delivers big-time with "Exposed to You." 4 1/2 stars(less)

The chemistry and tension that builds between them as she works on his tattoo leads to an intense sexual encounter that's contrary to Joy's typically cautious nature.

After reading this combustible opening (the excerpt is taken from the first chapter of the book) I was really curious to see how the author could build Joy and Everett's relationship beyond their obvious physical attraction into something deeper and more lasting. The rest of the book takes place over a year after their first encounter–and after her cancer treatment, and while they are still drawn to each other, Joy especially, has changed greatly in the interim.

Through both blisteringly raw and intimate encounters, and time spent outside of the bedroom, Joy and Everett get to know each other. They reveal their vulnerabilities and their history. I really like that time was spent on developing their relationship through many levels of sharing, and that they each found qualities in the other worth exploring. Joy sees Everett's grace and confidence. He is so comfortable in his own skin, and she is just wowed by that. Everett loves that Joy is unimpressed with his celebrity, seeing him as a whole person, not just the guy on the supermarket tabloid.

However, Everett also finds Joy a bit of an enigma. Her sexual connection with him is so open. She responds to his dominance with a willing acceptance, allowing herself to be incredibly vulnerable to him. Yet, Joy also keeps a part of herself closed to him in the aftermath of their sexual encounters. She pushes him away, and he can't figure out why.

And, this is where I have some issues with Joy. I really got how she would pull away from Everett some times, protecting herself from anticipated future hurt. His reputation and all the baggage that comes from being a celebrity sometimes gets in the way of letting her believe that Everett's feelings were genuine and lasting.

But, I had a harder time understanding her insistence on secrecy around having had cancer. It becomes an elephant in the room that Everett can sense, but not identify. I felt so frustrated for him at times. I really worried that the author wouldn't be able to resolve this issue in a way that felt true to the character and story, and allowed for a believable HEA.

However, I shouldn't have worried. Beth Kery's ability to convey deeply emotional issues really allowed me to see Joy's growth, and believe in their HEA.

When I read Exposed to You, I didn't realize until about halfway through the book that is was the second book in the One Night of Passion series. It stood alone well, and now I'm really excited to read the first book, Addicted to You (written by Beth Kery as Bethany Kane) and 2 related novellas.

3 1/2 stars. I read A LOT. I've learned some authors are good writers and some are not. The good ones are to be treasured because they are most often the exception. Exposed to You falls into the good writer category so why only 3 1/2 stars?

I struggled with what score to give this book because, although I have not read any other Kery books, in this instance, I found her to be an excellent story teller. And scores are important. A book may sound good but, generally, I only add books with a 3.8 or...more

He’s just as enchanted and enthralled with her as he was after the most incredible blowjob he’s ever had, and he delves to discover why she didn’t keep their pre-arranged meeting. Joy is embarrassed to learn Everett is the man who was under all that body paint. But it’s obvious he’s not going to let her go so soon this time, coercing her to attend the premiere with him. Though he’s a Hollywood star and could have any woman on the planet, Joy agrees to one evening with him, thinking the physical attraction will wear off and Everett will then move on.

She couldn’t be more wrong. Everett likes how Joy sees him as the man, not the movie star. He wants the simple things life like a lot of men do – a wife, a home, children, happiness. He knows he can have this with Joy. But commitment isn’t in her future, as far as she’s concerned. There’s every reason to believe the cancer can return, and she’d never subject Everett to the same thing she went through with her mother. Even after Everett acknowledges his love, it’s so difficult for Joy to open up to that extent. It takes more doing on his part to show her she doesn’t have to be alone, now that he’s found the one woman who can and does love him for who he is, without pretense.

Of course, the sex between them is some of the hottest ever written. Joy is fairly uninhibited sexually, but Everett exposes a part of her no one, including Joy herself, has ever seen or experienced. Besides being an explosive and dominant lover, Everett is just as kind and considerate, giving Joy everything she needs physically and emotionally, even when her secret is revealed and he finally learns all. A man who loves you into near unconsciousness and who will stand by your side no matter what may come? Yes, indeed, a dream like no other. And though I understand her hesitation, I wanted to sit her down and give her a good talking to when she keeps pushing Everett away.

If you’ve not read Beth Kery, make this your first book. You don’t need to read Addicted to You first, even though those characters are part of this book. Though for the full experience of the series, pick them both up because they’re both that good. Ms. Kery is fast becoming a fan favorite when it comes to emotional investment in characters, and when you add the raw, intense physicality of lovemaking, you get the complete package when reading her books, and these two are perfect examples.

I read the first chapter at the end of Captured by you and was hooked.

I felt Beth did an amazing job in this book, not that she hasn’t before, but I felt she really went to some new heights. She captured and amazing emotional story and blended it with and erotic tale that showed a man there was love out there for him and a women she didn’t have to be alone. The flow between the emotional aspect and the eroticism was just outstanding in this book.

I had no idea body paint could be so erotic, there were some amazing tantric references and usage of well I will just say equipment that were taken to a whole new level!! Outdoor sex that made me want to find a forest quick and a shower scene that made the steam even hot!!!! That will have me rereading this book for that alone!!

Everett Hughes is not your typical Hollywood mega star, he is down to earth, loyalty is very important to him, he isn’t into the glamour and limelight that is the Hollywood scene. He is a powerful dominate male that is sex on a stick.

Joy Hightower, talented artist and painter, she was strong yet had built a wall around herself that she was afraid to let fall. As a cancer survivor she feels vulnerable, insecure and afraid that she can’t let anyone close to her, especially after watching her mother die of the disease. My heart ached for her.

Everett tries to get her to open up and he shows Joy things she never thought possible, especially about herself and how she can feel. This scares her, she doesn’t think he his feelings are genuine, is an actor after all. He is so full of life and love and she so much wants to hold on to that yet in the end she still fights with her feeling. When a health scare comes she withdraws once again running from him and everyone else.

Everett knows how he feels and when he finally finds out that she was hiding her remission he was hurt but coming to understand that she didn’t want to burden him because she loved him. Being the kind of man that he is he goes to her and shows her she isn’t alone and never will be. It was such a heart wrenching moment what he did to show her how much he loved her that yes I did tear up.

How can you not love a dominate man that also wants to love and care for you no matter what. That doesn’t care if he is a movie star that only see’s you and you are his world. That is what you get in EXPOSED TO YOU. Along with some great insight on some amazing sex, this book has it all. This is definitely a re-read for me!!!

But I was so pleasantly surprised to see that this wasn't just a trope to Ms. Kery but real issues that she treated respectfully and realistically.

And while some reviewers have panned Joy's response to her cancer and pushing Everett away, it's a *real* response. There is that deep feeling and fear of intimacy and making emotional connection and any one who hasn't experienced serious medical problems can't truly or fully understand that. When you have no control over your body and it fails you, you do all that you can to try and control your environment and responses and spare the ones closest to you.

I was feeling pretty raw by the end of this book and I was rooting for Everett and Joy to finally break down those walls and find a middle ground. For me, Everett was a bit too perfect and his response was... well... straight out of every woman's fantasy but it was Joy that I really connected to. It was so sweet and heartwarming to see her conquer her fear and finally allow Everett in and to realize that it was ok to rely on someone and let them help anchor her. For me, the romance wasn't just with Everett and Joy but in Joy rediscovering her love of life. Letting go of the fear to just live and love and giving herself permission to soak it all in.

The erotic scenes were very well done and flowed fluently with the story. But even without those, I think the connection that Joy and Everett made would have still shone through. So I hesitate to make this about being an "erotic" story and will definitely be recommending this with the focus on the emotional romance. (less)

I did enjoy that fact that this book showed the reader that just because you are an actor, you are still a real person on the inside. This book, I felt, was very refreshing in the respect that there wasn't any real drama. Yes Joy had a small bout of jealousy but she got over it pretty quickly. Any other drama was totally self inflicted. I liked that there weren't any outside factors that caused a misunderstanding, like you see in so many books.

I think the reason I deducted stars was because I didn't love the book. I have to say that at first I really enjoyed Joy as the heroine but as the book continued she started to aggravate me. She has a life issue that stops her from trusting and truly opening herself up to people. I understand being a little skittish in the beginning of a relationship but over time Everett proved he really cared about her. Still she had to go through something major for her to finally be able to open up to Everett about it. I also didn't like that it took til the last chapter for it to finally come out. I think it should have come out sooner and then continued on with how Everett and Joy handled everything together. I also had a problem with a part of the book which was in the last few chapters. I had to wait for a really long time to get this book on hold at the library so I had to dive into immediately even though I had other things to read first (cough "The Stranger" cough cough). After reading it, it was definitely worth reading it first.

Joy started the book finding out bad news that would change her life. Still reeling from the news she gets the job of painting a body tattoo on Hollywood heartthrob Everett Hughes. In the midst of doing something highly erotic she decides to give him a blowjob, because she is just that interested in celebrating the life. Of course he wants to see her after his promotional thing but she gets stood up.

Months pass and now she's living elsewhere when the premiere of his movie comes to town. She meets Everett and he immediately wants to pursue a relationship with her. Basically he's slightly obsessed with her and wants to understand why he's so captivated. She agrees to see him but is looking for only a physical relationship.

Everett pursued her relentlessly and they began a tentative relationship where he was clearly more serious than her. Joy continued to avoid intimacy while Everett broke down her barriers in bed. She also refused to tell him about her medical history even when she believed her cancer could have come back.

My biggest issue with this book was the randomness of Everett's dominant attitude. In some books I feel like the character is dominant naturally but in this case I felt it was added to make the book more shocking. I don't mind Everett's look towards tantric sex but the dominant attitude came a bit out of left-field for me. If anything I thought Joy was the dominant one in the relationship with Everett following her every step of the way. Joy set the boundaries and Everett followed them for the most part yet he was deemed the dominant and demanding personality in bed. Maybe it was me but I didn't care for it.

I'm still eagerly awaiting Ms. Kery's "Because You Are Mine" book as well as her new serial which has been announced on her website.

Joy is having coffee with a couple of friends and colleagues from the school in the coffee shop when Everett Hughes walks in and zeroes in on her like a missile seeking its target. Everett and Joy had made plans to meet following the movie shoot the day of their spontaneous erotic interlude but fate intervened and it wasn’t to be. He tried to find her but had been unable to track her down. Everett was deeply affected by their “close encounter”, and isn’t about to let her go again. While completely embarrassed to discover it was Everett Hughes she was intimate with that day, she accepts when he takes her aside in the coffee shop and implores her to spend time with him.

Joy and Everett begin a whirlwind emotional, extremely intense love affair. She believes their relationship is a sexual dalliance for this famous man who can have any woman he wants. However, Everett takes a perfectly executed swan dive embracing love; the problem is convincing the extremely private, extraordinarily independent Joy that there is more to their connection than physical attraction.

Beth Kery is successful in bringing this amazing hero to life, his compassion for his family and friends, and his abundance of charisma wells from the pages. Everett is fun and intelligent along with being well grounded, comfortable in his own skin. He embraces his chosen craft with exuberance and professionalism. Joy’s reticence about letting down her defenses and giving her heart fully to him is frustrating but he does not give up. Everett repeatedly brings out Joy’s passion through inventive deeply emotional love-making. He does enjoy kink and dominance in the bedroom and there is bondage in this story but this isn’t a D/s novel per se. Kery introduces tantric sexuality into the protagonists’ intimate relationship, which opens a new world of intimacy for Joy. The depth of passion they share is breathtaking and unique but Joy is afraid of taking that step into commitment for a variety very private reasons.

Everett is sensitive and devoted to those he cares for, and what is also wonderful about this story is it allows readers to visit Katie and Rill, the protagonists from Addicted to You. They, along with Seth hold important secondary roles in the story. As well, Jennifer from Bound to You makes a brief appearance, and she is given an important, pivotal role.

Exposed to You is more than a hot erotic romance. It’s a beautiful, memorable love story given realism with vivid descriptions of a lush country setting. The complexity of creating intricate body art for movie roles is fascinating. However, at it’s heart, Exposed to You is about a unique man who shows compassion and devotion to break through the armor of pain and fear that surrounds the woman he loves. Beth Kery’s novel Wicked Burn has always held a place as my favorite erotic romance but Exposed to You has edged it out.(less)

Joy Hightower is a talented art teacher. Joy is also a cancer survivor. She's had experience with the disease in the past. Her father couldn’t deal with her mother’s illness and up and left them both. Her father's rejection and mother's death has shaped Joy, although she has a lot of support and love from her Uncle Seth, who is a successful makeup artist in Hollywood. Seth asks Joy to help him on the set of what will be a big underwater motion picture called Maritime (think Kevin Costner’s Waterworld, but this one won’t bomb). Joy will help with the body art end of things and that’s where she comes in contact with the superstar of tomorrow, Everett Hughes. Joy has no idea who Everett is, but there’s a big attraction between both, so much so that she ends up giving him a blowjob, no questions asks. Afterward Everett asks to meet Joy after both their workdays are done, but because of a miscommunication issue on where to meet (they really should have exchanged phone numbers), they both think the other has bailed out on each other and go their separate ways.

Fourteen months later, Joy is living in Chicago and teaching. She's moved from Los Angeles after her treatments and wanted to start anew where no one knows about her illness. She gets the biggest surprise of her life when Everett walks into a coffee shop she’s at and the sparks fly between them once again. She takes the chance and goes away with him for a long weekend where she gets to know his sister and her husband, as well as her Uncle Seth who tags along, but keeps a close eye on Everett for reasons Everett doesn’t understand. He would never hurt Joy in a million years and only wants to love her. And loving Joy is Everett’s goal. Joy gives into her passion for Everett and is more than willing to do some sexual acts she would have never been open to if not for Everett who is kind, understand and wonderful. But Joy continues to keep her distance and will only give Everett her body because she can’t take the chance she could get sick again and Everett could leave her just like her father did to her mother.

Exposed To You had my every emotion engaged while I read. Everett is as close to perfect as you can get. Can I haz a Everett? Joy is one lucky woman because she's THE ONE for Everett. He falls hard for her and doesn’t care if the entire world knows. He’s also a gentleman and courts Joy as well as seduces her. Everett’s seduction techniques would make any women swoon. He’s into tantric sex, and the first time he does that with Joy, she’s so overwhelmed that she has a violent reaction (orgasm of the century) to Everett and what he shares with her. Everett is the ultimate giver and doesn’t expect anything in return.

The love scenes smolder and there are many sexual positions and acts shared between the two. I’m not a big fan of butt butt love, but the way Beth has written Everett’s fun times with Joy’s butt is hot to trot. Scorching is the perfect word, including some kink Everett introduces to Joy, who is very open to trying everything and anything. Even when they commune with nature among the trees and mud, it’s really sexy.

Exposed to You gets high marks for me. It’s one of the best contemporary romances I’ve read this year. Spicy, emotional and vroom-vroom love making that makes me want more.(less)

I loved how at the start Joy didn't have a clue who she was "making up", just another random actor. I loved how both Joy and Everette were stunned and didn't want to let go of the feeling, so they made plans to meet later. I was so depressed when it seemed like Joy was stood up.

Wow. I can’t say too much because I really do not want to give anything away but this is a fantastically written book! I was hooked from their first encounter and I didn’t want to put the book down!

Exposed To you is sizzling! If you want a book with romance, passion and something electrifying then look no further! Beth Kery has a real talent for writing passionate love scenes that both leave you satisfied but at the same time wanting to read on and discover more of the story. To say it is steamy is an understatement!

The characters are very well written. Beth Kery brought them to life with the descriptions of the settings, the dialogue and the scenes. I really liked Joy, I warmed to her straight away and I felt for her very much as she went through her personal struggles. Everett…wow – is he available in real life?! Not only is he handsome and sexy, but throughout the book as a reader we are able to see his softer, more sensitive caring side too. The chemistry between Everett and Joy was sensational.

I particularly loved that there was such a strong feeling of romance throughout. I enjoyed how Everett and Joy progressed throughout the book, how they grew together, emotionally as well as physically, and the bond between them. It was delightful to read!

Exposed To You is a brilliantly written book with lots of passion, tension and sexy moments, but it also has a lot of soul and depth to it with beautiful and emotional scenes that will touch your heart too. This book is a memorable love story that I’m sure will be a big hit – a must read!(less)
