by
Slinkachu

The book has an beautiful layout where a full view of the artwork’s location is shown on one page followed by a close up of the artwork on the next. As I made my way through the book I found myself trying to spot where the miniature artworks were hidden within the first photographs as some were much less obvious than oth...more

I love reading I Spy books with my kids, which is probably why I was drawn to this book.
The photos are terrific - from different cities all over the world - the first is the main photo and then the second photo shows a miniature scene that you wouldn't maybe have noticed the first time around. Many of them are cute or funny, some sad.
I loved Natural Selection and Damn Kids.
Anyway, this is a book that you should leave out in your living room to read over and over, and to notice new things each...more

The dual-perspective visuals are imaginative. The concept is frightening: tiny persons against a backdrop of massive structures. The photographic imagery is impressive. Multiple settings include the USA, Netherlands, China, Russia, Italy, Hong Kong, Germany, France, Greece, Morocco, South Africa, Portugal, Israel, United Kingdom, Barbados, Qatar, and Palestinian territories.
