Lucas, Faith’s werewolf boyfriend, believes there is a vampire uprising and is trying to prove it even though the pack leader refuses to believe him. Then Derek, Faith’s ex that was turned in revenge, wakes up. The first hybrid vampire/werewolf, no one knows what his abilities are or even if he is going to be sane in the end. Faith is torn in two. She wants to be with Lucas, help explore her abilities and how they interact with Lucas. But she is also pulled to Derek, it is her fault that he is a ...more

Blood Crave is the sequel to Blood on the Moon and this series is freakin’ incredible. My first loves in the Paranormal genre are vampires and werewolves, and Jennifer Knight has written a totally awesome one in the Blood on the Moon series. I feel like I’ve been on an amazing adrenaline rush reading this book. The only regrets I have is that I didn't read the first book, but you better believe I will be getting the first book. I love the characters: Faith, Lucas, and Derek. Faith is the main ch ...more
I liked Dereks and Lucas characters but there was just too much angst between them and Faith. The angst just took away from the story causing Faith to come across as a selfish brat most of the time. I figured that Faith would've been turned several times in the story but as you thought the story was coming to an end you took another turn delaying the inevitable. But seriously there needs to bee another book because the way it ended is unacceptable. We as readers need closer to the bigger picture ...more

The ending of this book blindsided me. That was the first time I had ever read something like that, especially in the middle book of a series. I was hooked after the first book, but I think I have just found my newest addiction.

Faith is one of my favorite heroines simply because she is not perfect. She makes mistakes, she admits those mistakes and sort of embraces her own flaws - I love that about her. Most main characters, especially the female ones, are the stereotypical perfect little angels

Not nearly as entertaining as the first Blood Crave fell a little flat but still made for a fun read. After Faith’s best friend Derek has been made into a vampire-werewolf hybrid Faith must convince the werewolves to accept him or she must choose between Derek and Lucas. Though the novel held potential I felt like there was too much talking and not nearly as much action as there could have been.

My number one complaint with this

Review Posted on Reading Lark 12/7/12:

Blood Crave picks up right where Blood on the Moon left off. I really appreciated the lack of downtime because of the cliffhanger in the previous book. I was anxious to find out what happened to one of my favorite characters. This edition still had the "Twilight Goes to College" feel to it, but again there was something compelling enough to keep me flipping the pages. I love the werewolves and the politics surrounding
Note: There are major spoilers for the first book in this series, Blood on the Moon, but no spoilers for this book, which is Book Two.

Before reading Blood Crave, I re-read Blood on the Moon, because it ended in a cliffhanger, and with those sorts of books, I like to get into the momentum before continuing on with the story.

Blood Crave continues the story of Faith Reynolds, who, like many young pretty girls in books these days, finds her life taken over by interactions with werewolves and vampir
Thanks first of all to Running Press and Netgalley for allowing me the chance to read and review this book!

I remember thinking, when I read Blood on the Moon, that this was a peculiar series. I didn't love it and I didn't hate it and some parts I adored. I feel the same way about this book with the addition of annoyance. I despise love triangles and I DESPISE excessive moodiness. This book has an excess of both.

At then end of the last book we are left with Derek-bitten by a werewolf and a vamp

“Blood Crave” by, Jennifer Knight

*First I need to tell you that this book is a sequel. The first book in this series is called “Blood on the Moon” and I really enjoyed it.

This series follows Faith Reynolds, her werewolf boyfriend Lucas, and her best friend Derek. In “Blood on the moon” Faith finds out about the supernatural world, learns about a vampire uprising, and falls in love with Lucas. At the end of the first book Derek is bitten by both a vampire and a werew

I have to say this book was very addicting. It had all of the paranormal elements I love with werewolves and vampires mixed in with a human heroine that is a little bit different also. Faith was such a cool heroine and I loved the ability that she had. I loved that she was also a strong heroine but understood when she needed help it was ok to receive it. We start this book out with meeting Faith who is out with her boyfriend Lucas hunting down a vampire. They are trying to prove that a vampire u ...more
Oh God. Oh, why did I read this book?
*SIGH* (if you haven't read the book, don't read this review. If you're a die heart fan-which I doubt anyone who has read this books is-then I figure it would be best if you steer clear from this review. I will be ranting about nearly everything I disliked about this book. Which is 99.9 precent of the book...)

Ughhhhhhhhhhh....Alright, so here's my thoughts on this over sized book (I can describe this book in two sentence: It's like a soap opera, only with v
I'm more than a little bit in love with this series and Jennifer Knight is proving herself to be a talented writer. I love my werewolves and this series deals with the whole vampire and werewolf trope really well. I enjoyed Blood on the Moon a lot and was extremely excited about the sequel. I'm glad to say I wasn't disappointed.

The first novel left off on an exciting note and Blood Crave does a great job of amping up the action and suspense. I thought the plot was well paced with a good mix of

Faith is a girl with a special gift is able to feel the emotions of people around her and to influence werewolves’ actions is naive sincere and kind with her family friends and Lucas.

Lucas is a wereloft , has 300 years is attractive ,posssesive loving and somestimes a jerk with Faith when is very jealousy especially when Faith is around the Derek.

Lucas tried to protect her even when is with Derek folowing her everywhere saving her from danger.

The relationship between the main character Faith an
I did not read the first book in the series Blood on the Moon, but the author established relationship’s and made the backstory clear enough so that I never felt lost.

I did not like the heroine. Faith was whiny, short sighted, and selfish. I never felt bad for her as she endured her trails (most of which could have been avoided if she didn’t cut people off so quickly). I wanted Lucas and Derek to find another chick to fight over. The story was full of adventure, drama, and twists. And the other
Great read! Great ending!! Now I have to wait for the next book in the series. C'mon Jen! Write quicker!

With all of the hype of Vampires and Werewolves, I’m always curious when I will come across a book that just finally makes me say, “no more.” Thankfully, this wasn’t one of them. This book is packed with supernatural from chapter one to the last page and always keeps the reader anticipating what is yet to come. It was definitely hard to put down.

Sometimes I just wanted to throttle Faith. I hoped that since I liked her considerably more at the end of Blood on the Moon, that I might like her throughout this whole book. . . I thought wrong. I enjoyed the book, and can't wait for the sequel, but I cannot get past the fact that Faith has a brain, but apparently, doesn't feel the need to use it. I do have to give her props for my favorite line in the book when she threatens to stab someone with a stiletto, that pretty much rocked.
Nope. Just nope. Derek is just.. and then Lucas.... and just... Derek is an idiot, Lucas is a jealous mofo, and Faith is just really ignorant. Like no. The ending was unexpected is just like the first book and leaves you wanting more. I started reading it soon a few months after I read Blood on the Moon, but stopped because it was so stupid and gave up. Then I felt like finishing it a few months later, and hence the beginning of this review. Its just.. WHY WHY WHY WHY?!?!?!?

This book was AWSOME.I'm so impatient that I cant even wait 1 min for book 3
Woah. Why can't Faith and Lucas just be together without anyone getting in the way?! And I hate Lucas's decision at the end of the book. I mean, c'mon you can't just leave her hanging like that! Anyway, I can't wait for the third book.
I loved this book so much!! I thought it was beautifully written and couldn't put it down. I can't wait for the 3rd book

Hi. I’m Jen. I am twenty-two years old and live in Miami, Florida with my family. I’m a lifelong lover of books, romance and anything even vaguely supernatural. Except zombies. Zombies scare me.

I started writing in college after trying and failing to find a major. It was all I really knew how to do and since school was going nowhere, I threw myself into it. I wrote my first book in a matter of mon
