"Set in the Wicklow Hills, a moving story which traces the life of the enigmatic Michael Dwyer, a captain in the '98 Rebellion.
Celebrated in many ballads, Michael knows the Wicklow Hills like the back of his hand, and these hills give him refuge. He is a pimpernel with nine lives, who evades capture, escape and reappears when rumoured to be dead. A story of romance, betrayal and survival. Highly recommended. - BOOKS IRELAND

This trilogy is well written. I don't know that it would be a 5, except that I am SO interested in the subject.
