I made the mistake of misjudging this book by the title and almost didn’t read it. I’m so glad I decided to read it, because it was one of the sweetest romance books I’ve read in awhile. Cassie had wanted an interview from Max in hopes of landing her dream job. She had been leaving messages for him to call her for weeks. Max was against interviews, and never bothered calling her back. Well… Max accidently hit Cassie with his car. When Cassie woke up in the hospital she was shocked to say the lea ...more

Thank god the pattern is gone! I swore on the 4th book that if this one had the same pattern I would stop reading the rest of the series!

The story's quite okay. I usually just read through the conversation. I wasn't really in the mood to read not-so-important scenes. The story's pretty light and it's not exciting, Should have thrown an ex-lover to add a few problems here and there.

#5 - Max and Cassie's book

OK... This, I think is the last book in this series... I'm happy it ended with a GREAT book... best one in the series yet!!!

Wowza... what a way to get a man... let him run you over with his car!!! Totally threw me for a loop on that.., never thought of a car accident to bring two people together...

Max is so crass and course... it always amazes me how these heroines somehow manage to chisel away at that rock hard exterior and reveal the lovi

I love these books so much. I've been hooked on many romance series in the last 4 months since being given my Kindle . These books have been my favorites. I can't believe how hooked I became after Book #1. I'm a big sap so I love romance novels. The first book warmed my heart with such a strong male character and each book that has followed has provided the same. I hope you enjoy the book as much as I did. I'm anxiously waiting the next book!!! :)

This was my favorite book of all the series. Max and Cassie are together by Fate and not the father and uncle's doing. I believe fate was trying to put them together with Cassie trying to interview Max. Max hate interviews and would have nothing to do with her so Fate stepped in and put them in each others lives. Cassie and Max try to hold their ground with the other but end up pissing the other off. Cassie and Max fall in love because they keep the other in check while also valuing the same thi ...more
I've read all of the books by author Melody Anne and so far I think this is my favorite book about the Andersons. I adore the love and romance between Cassie and Max. Cassie blackmailing Max into an interview was definitely a unique idea. Max has just the right amount of alpha-ness to him to make him very sexy while Cassie is beautiful for being so down to earth. She learns through her interview that this Anderson bachelor isn't like her preconceived ideas of the mysterious Max who stays out of ...more

Blackmailing the billionaire- “She narrowed her eyes as she glared at the magazine picture of him she had in her locker as motivation. If he thought she was some whimpering girl who so easily took ‘no’ for an answer, he certainly had another thing coming.” “She was truly one in a million.” “Our minds tend to retreat, to protect us, when something traumatic happens.” “This was a new voice, an incredibly deep, masculine voice, which seemed to purr. She was becoming more motivated to open her eyes, ...more

This is book 5 in the Billionaire Bachelors series........
Cassie has been trying for months to gain an interview with Max Anderson to help her get a job with a newspaper having finshed Uni at top of her class in Journalism....... He runs into Cassie one day (with his car) and she is in a coma for 8 days....... when she wakes up she realises she can get her interview finally (with a little blackmail), so is she winning what she
George Anderson's son Max is in for a surprise, even George doesn't seem to be involved in this match making.
Max travels a lot for the Anderson Corporation, especially to Alaska. He is a playboy and likes being away from his family. He is also avoiding reporters wanting to get the dirt on their family.
Cassandra is chasing Max for an exclusive interview. She thinks this will open doors for her in her journalism career.
Fate steps in when Max hits Cassie with his car. She blackmails him to let her

Cassie has some preconceived ideas about Max Anderson. All she really has to go on are stories and photos from the media since Max is an expert at avoiding personal interviews. If she could only get that exclusive interview, that one on one that no other journalist has snagged then her career would be set, or at the very least on it’s way with a solid start. Trouble is the elusive Mr. Anderson is avoiding her calls – how can she write the story of the year if th

I just read all the books in The Billionair's Bachelors series for the second time. Each book was so good. They can be read as stand alone's, but It's better to start with book one, The billionaire wins the game. I fell in love with the Anderson family. Joseph, and George are twin brothers. They have fun playing match maker, melding in their sons life's.. They want grandkids and want their sons to find true love. Each book is a romance. I found each of the books to be a wonderful journey of love ...more

I've got to admit... even tho this book seemed a bit shorter, I still fell on love with Max and Cassie. This series just proves that love can happen and that we all have to be patient but when we find it, we have to fight for it.

This review covers all 7 of Melody Anne’s “The Billionaires Series”. With each book I finished I kept saying to myself “this is my favorite” and of course it wasn't till I reached the final book that I can truly say “THIS one is my favorite”. Don't get me wrong each book held its own and I thoroughly enjoyed reading every one of them and I highly recommend you read each one in order. Loved how at the end of each book (HEA) it lead straight into the next story wetting your appetite. The final boo ...more

Slow To Start Then WOW

The romance for this story is slow to start which was disappointing, I mean you were almost 50% into the book and they had only shared one kiss. Granted it was one very HOT kiss, but still only one kiss. Don't get me wrong the tension and chemistry between them was good but not YET awesome. But you have to remember when you are reading a relatively short book you don't want to wait till half way in till their second kiss. The storyline was a little slow on this one compared
Cassandra, or Cassie, is trying to break into the journalism scene and is seeking out an interview with Max Anderson. Max Anderson doesn't do interviews and has dodged every inquiry Cassie has made. Until one fateful day...Cassie wakes up in the hospital only to find out she has been hit by a car. Not any car, but Max Anderson's car. He tries to pay her off but instead she demands an interview. Max reluctantly agrees mainly because he wants to find out why he can't stop thinking about her.

I like that the main character was stronger (albeit clumsier) than the other heroines. This is one of my favorite books in the series
i really enjoy the book.. the stories keep getting better and better.. i can not wait for the next one ..
I've re-read and amended my rating:
If you're looking for complex plot and a challenging read, this is not for you.
It's tricky to review a book like this as it's a simple feel good love story. I can't compare it to other books I read where there's detailed plot and character development as I read those books expecting different things. When I started reading this book, and others by this author, I was expecting a bit of heartache, characters refusing to admit they're in love, other people causing
3.5 Stars! Blackmailing the Billionaire, book five in the Billionaire Bachelors series by Melody Anne. I loved reading the next Anderson's story and falling deeper into their family. I also enjoyed the premise of the story, although I would have liked it to come about with more meddling from Joseph and George.

Joseph Anderson has succeeded in marrying off his three boys and gaining his beloved grandchildren, but now he's fully involved with helping his twin brother George in the same way.
Another wonderful Anderson family love affair!

I wonder what I will do when all of the Anderson children are married off? These stories have become a part of my book family. The romances, the tenderness and the love within the family is so touching and sweet. Looking forward to their next adventure and the introduction to the only female Anderson among the siblings and cousins. Truly a series about love, strength and family ties throughout this beautiful series.
This fifth installment with the Anderson family has a bit of a twist at the outset. As much as Joseph and George try to plan out their children's lives, George's second son, Max, actually manages to run into his future wife on his own...literally. Cassandra wants to get a job in the newspaper business. If she can get an interview with Max Anderson, she'll be able to possibly get the job of her dreams because of all the Andersons, Max is the one who doesn't like to speak with the press so he's ne ...more
well this fifth book was about Max Anderson, the second eldest son of George anderson, he avoided all kinds of matchmaking that george and joseph had for him, he was actually really smart, he figured really quickly what his father and his uncle were up to, but it didn't last.. his bachelor days were over once he met Cassandra Mcintyre, it was pretty funny cause he was driving and out of nowhere BOOM he hit her with his car.. it was kinda hilarious.. then she woke up 8 days later in a unknown pla ...more

Finally somewhat of a plot change. No shotgun wedding. Don't get me wrong, I've enjoyed allt he books but it was nice to see the girl not a virgin, not jumping into bed for a one night stand and then having to get married.

Some grammar and timeline issues in the book, could use better editing.

I am loving this book and Melody Anne's Billionaire Bachelors series.

Max and Cassie story is one of lust and wanting. Max has his pick of women but can't find the one. He isn't looking for the one but happens to hit the one with his car. Cassie is just looking to do a interview with Max. So when he hits her, she blackmails him into the interview. Can love start out like this?

I would recommend this book and the series.

I'm going to have to put myself in readers rehab. I haven't read this much since I was in sixth grade. I still manage to get work done, but it is very difficult not to read all day! Going to have to put myself in time out, but it is so much fun!! Thanks Melody

I loved this 5th book's story line. I loved the hot & steamy scenes. I loved the scenery of Alaska, it sounded beautiful. I loved Max's character. I also loved Cassie's character too. I loved how Max & Cassie met. I loved the stubbornness of Max & Cassie. I loved the ending. Awesome job Ms. Anne.
