I loved reading His Majesty's Service by Carolyn Rosewood! It is an excellent book, crafted well, with everything I could ask for in a steamy romance: intrigue, adventure, sexy love scenes and empathetic characters. Ravenna is a terrific heroine: brave and loyal and beautiful. Dalmas is a hero to make one's heart palpitate! Since I love to escape with a fantasy I was thrilled to get a copy of this new release. For me the highlights of the story are the sympathetic characters and the wonderful world building.
There's plenty of conflict and political intrigue to keep the pages turning.
Carolyn definitely has a flair for emotionally-charged drama and sensual romance.His Majesty's Secret is a quality read, all the way around.

Ravenna was such a fantastic character, there was so much growth while Dalmas got to show all his sides. They combined attraction was a like a moth to a flame. I love how the story progressed. The flow was wonderfully done. Between the spanking and the oil it was definitely smoking hot!
Perfection would be the one word to describe this book. His Majesty’s Secret had well written action, twists, flaming sex scenes and the ending was absolutely epic....more

Carolyn out did herself. This one a freaking scrumptious read. I LOVED the characters so much. I will be rereading this and real soon!
