I don't have the fancy-schmancy Penguin Classics trade paperback edition pictured above. I bought my old school mass market edition way back in the 1980s from a local Walgreens. Mike Reynolds is a bit of everything which makes it so hard to rate. Think Bible think Gilgamesh then add a little of Mad Max and The Room and you might begin to scratch the surface of this emerging masterpiece. Besides, all other Anonymous' works are pretty famous. So all things considered, I don't understand why this one isn't. I think it definitely deserves more exposure. But that's just my opinion and it might change soon and without notice.
