Four years ago, Mitch Lawson moved across the breezeway from Mara Hanover and she fell in love with the tall, good-looking police detective who had an uncanny ability to dress well even though he’s single. It was not a stalker kind of love; she knows she has no hope since Mitch is way out of her league. That doesn’t change the fact that he’s her dream man.

Then one day Mara

Dear Ms. Ashley

You probably don't know who I am, but pretty soon you will. Why, you ask yourself. Because I am going to kidnap Mitch Lawson and make him a part of my harem, of course. Now, I know nowadays harems aren't trendy, but as I was reading this book I realized I had a problem. There are just too many men I had already pledged to (including your fabulous heroes Brock and Ty), so I needed to think outside of the box. I realize having all those alpha men at the ready will be very c

GAWD I loved this book so much! There are many things that make this a great read but the reasons can be easily summarized in three words repeated over and over again: Detective Mitch Lawson. A Law Man and Dream Man extraordinaire, he is without a doubt my favorite Kristen Ashley alpha hero and one of the most swoonalicious, studtastic, heart thud inducing, and sigh-worthy heroes in Romancelandia. Seriously, Mitch is yummy husband hero material and utterly amazing

Awesome, funny, sexy, poignant, exciting, sexy, awesome, sexy… Law Man, the third book in the Dream Man series is all kinds of greatness! Mitch Lawson is one of my absolute favorite KA heroes and I just adored Mara! She might be shy, but she’s no Shrinking Violet!!!

Mitch Lawson may be the dreamiest of the dream men! He wasn’t quite as alpha as Hawk, Tack, or Brock, but he was so damn sweet, loving and kind and that made him super sexy!

Mara comes from trash. She doesn’t communicate with most of her family, except her cousin Bill and his two kids. She left that life 13 years ago and she’s never going back. But the life she grew up living took its toll. She has low self esteem, and even though she’s made something of herself, has great friends, a

Full review posted. Finally!

Fantastic! I loved this book. Kristen Ashley created magic when she brought to life this heartfelt story and the amazingly swoonalicious hero,Mitch Lawson.

This book is chock-full of heart-and-soul. It has an emotional subject matter, humor, suspense, steamy romance, and very endearing characters. Well, Mara, the heroine, did annoy me for a portion of the book with her insecurity. I understand why she had such low self-worth, but I came to love her once she rea

On one hand you have very strong and sexy police detective Mitch Lawson, aka Mr. Ten Point Five, and on the other hand a very sweet but insecure salesperson Mara Hanover, aka Ms. Two Point Five. How can these two ever work things out so they can be together in the real world?

Well, it takes a jerky police detective to get them there. Now just stay with me...Mara is all kinds of sweet but she's had some things happen in her life that has messed her up and skewed her view of herself. There would n

I almost gave up on this one. Almost...But with the encouragement of GR buddies/Kristen Ashley fans, I soldiered on, waiting (not so patiently) for the heroine, Mara, to (in Mitch's words) "get her head out of her ass". And I'm so glad I stuck with it, because by about the 60% mark, this book became un-put-down-able!

No big review here, just some thoughts/likes/dislikes...

The book started off well. I mean, who doesn't like a heroine who's a little unsure of herself, only to realize her worth when

For Mara Hanover it's a futile exercise being in love with Mitch Lawson. Afterall, he's totally out of her league. On a scale of one to ten, he's a ten point five. In Mara's estimation she's a two point five. Besides, she's shy and from the wrong side of the tracks. She's lived in the apartment near to his for four years and loved the tall, handsome police detective with the soulful eyes for all of those four years. When Mara takes her cousin's two children into her care, it's Mitch who steps up
“Detective Mitch Lawson.
I also knew that my neighbor Detective Mitch Lawson was at least a Ten, maybe an Eleven so to give him a fair score; I put him at a definite Ten Point Five.
In other words, he was beyond perfect from the top of his dark brown-haired head to his usually boot-clad feet.
He was the man of my dreams.”

Hellllllooooo Mitch ❤️
WOW! Another amazing read by Kristen Ashley!

My hastily written thoughts b/c RL calls:)

Detective Mitch Lawson - I don't know if I have the words! I first met him in Mystery Man. I started falling then. It wasn't deep; - purely superficial lust!

And then he gets his own story - and now there are all kind of emotions I'm feeling! Lust is one of them - yeah! And ladies, who wouldn't?! This man is very nice eye candy! Just the mention of those shoulders and packed abs will make you swoon! Intense – o
His eyes were the most beautiful eyes I'd ever seen but when they were warm and his beautiful lips turned up into a smile making his whole face warm; it was too much to take.

That's a perfect description of Mitch, and by far my favorite from the long list of KA's alpha males. This book was so much fun, I just adored it! Loved Mara too, she's sweet and thoughtful and I couldn't have asked for a better heroine for Mitch.

The Epilogue to this is just the best! I can't help but smile like an id

What a great, amazing, awesome, wonderful, beautiful….. book!!!!!

I am positively in LOVE LOVE LOVE with Mara and Mitch (most especially Mitch). Once again Kristen Ashley delivers in Law Man. She has such a knack for creating stunning, vibrant and amazing characters that simply draws you in as a reader. I can't seem to get enough of this and her books!

I have to admit it that it took me a long while to even begin to like Mara. She drove me nuts. Mara annoyed me to no end with her people cla

Mara Hanover aka Sweetheart is a 31 year old single woman living in Colorado, working at a mattress store. Mara had a horrible childhood, and left home at the age of 18. As a result of her upbringing, Mara has very low self esteem. She thinks of herself as boring, and not very attractive or desirable. She hasn't had much experience with dating, or had many lovers. She hasn't been in a relationship for over 2 years, s

I enjoyed this book. I loved when Mitch told Mara over and over, "Baby, get their shit. All of it."

I also loved, "If I'm your Mitch then you're my Mara" and "If they make it out of this alive, they're mine."

I adored Mitch and again, a kick ass epilogue.
It’s no secret I love Kristen Ashley’s writing and Law Man was no exception! Mitch was soooo lovely and a guy I would swoon, drool, and pant over in real life. Shhhh…don’t tell my husband!

Mara has had a crush on Mitch Lawson ever since she moved to the same apartment complex. He’s HOT and a police detective, and in Mara’s mind he’s completely out of her league. She avoids speaking to Mitch because every time she does she’s incoherent and a bundle of nerves! This all changes when Mara has a wate

This was beautiful <3 Even better than the first read :) I can't say how much I loved Mitch, this was a great story. Although Mara is supposed to be the main character I just found myself drawn to Mitch more, he's the backbone of the novel, and his love for her and the kids at the end had me crying all over <3 just beautiful <3

Law Man brought with it lots of swooning, lots of "awwwwh"-ing, lots of contented sighing and lots of tummy whooshing. When I first met Detective Mitch Lawson along with Gwendolyn in Mystery Man, I thought I was in love. Wavy chestnut hair, soulful eyes, strong, silent type... *dreamy eyes*. I had no freaking idea. Give the guy the spotlight in his own story and I was damn near apoplectic.

Mitch lives in the same apartment complex as Mara Hanover, a shy wallflower type who

Mitch is by far one of my favorite Kristen Ashley. I can't gush over him enough. He is such a sweet gentle man. I adored the way he was with the kids. Just jumping right in with no questions asked and becoming a father figure. Made me swoon even more.

Mara got on my nerves with her rating scale however I understood why she was the way she is. I am glad that Mitch finally got through her shell and dragged

Five-stars-plus and kudos to Kristen Ashley for another fantastic book!

Mitch Lawson is definitely a 10.5 on the hero-scale!! He grabbed my attention the moment he walked onto the pages of "Mystery Man." For me, that was just a tease and I wanted more, more, more. Thankfully, Kristen Ashley gave us more of Mitch, along with his fantastic HEA, in "Law Man." Now I’m truly feelin’ the love. It is clear from the beginning that Mitch is going to represent the more "normal" side of the alpha male than
I liked it but it was far from being my favorite Kristen Ashley book. I loved Mitch, the story was good, it was funny and the kids were adorable.

My problem was with Mara. She drove me nuts with her rating system and her constant bickering and distrust of Mitch's feelings for her. I understand why she was that way, but by halfway through the book I'd had enough.

All and all still a very good read, it just didn't wow me the way KA's books usually do. Bring on Tack!

Law Man is our hottie Detective Mitch Lawson's story.
I was very much into Detective Lawson when we met him in "Mystery Man".
He's been the secret obsession of his neighbor, Mara (Marabelle Jolene) Hanover for the past four years.
They live across from each other in an apartment development.

I can pretty much sum up what i loved about this book in one word:
Mitch. I loved him to pieces and was super excited to read his book.

Unfortunately, with as much as I loved Mitch, I really didn't like Mara. At all. I haven't read one book of hers that I haven't liked or loved for that matter!

There were many wonderful things about Law Man.

First of all, the early released six chapters had me so geared up to read it immediately! Mara, the heroine, had a wild rating scale for dating that was hysterical. She was so shy, sweet and so in love with Mitch (which I have been in love with since his appearance in Mystery Man). She had never even talked to him in 4 years of being his neighbor and would hardly make eye contact with him. In the first chapters you also got to meet Bil
I was first introduced to Kristen Ashley with Sweet Dreams. That book absolutely blew me away! I loved it so much. Since that time I've read several other KA books, most of which I've liked, some of course more than others. But not since Sweet Dreams have I read a KA book that I've loved so much, not until I read Law Man that is.

Rarely, if ever can I say that I thoroughly relate to a heroine. Also rarely can I say that I want a hero all for my very own. But Mara and Mitch!!! Boy can I say with a

“I love you, Bud," he whispered to Billy and two more tears escaped.
"I love you too, Mitch," Billy whispered back, my breath hitched and both males' eyes came to me.
I waved my wineglass at them and murmured, "Don't mind me. Have your moment."
Mitch leaned back, letting Billy go and grinning at me. "Men don't have moments."
"You do," I returned. "I'm witnessing one."
"This isn't a moment, honey, it's a meeting of the minds," Mitch contradicted me.”
“I'll go gentle, baby," he whispered against my lips. "I promise. You'll always be safe with me."
Oh. My.
"Mitch," I breathed.
His soulful eyes held mine captive as he repeated firmly, "Always.”
