I don't know... It's a good read, I loved the writing, but I felt like the blurb is a bit misleading. I really don't know why this book is called "Sold", it should have been called "Bought".

It's not as dark as the blurb implies, but it's very kinky :).

I know it's a novella, so I can't expect too much, but it felt too short. I didn't get this constant jumping from pas-to-present-back-to-the-past-and-to-the-present-thing that was happening. There is a two year gap in between, so

This was one of those stories that I kept thinking about after I read it. So, I read it again. It was a story that I almost wanted to knock down the rating for being a short story. Alas, I can’t rate books low for something I knew that it was when buying it. The author makes it clear the length and that it is a short story.

However, this story was almost—beautiful. Just a perfectly written erotica tale that not only got me so hot I had to read parts to my husband out loud I was getting ‘pent up’,
Too short to reveal much of the characters or their back story. Marcus is an assassin and he wants a companion. He meets Marguirite at a bar, kidnappes her and convinces her to leave her old life behind to be his companion. Sounds interesting enough, I want to know how he convinced her and how did she feel, lots is left up to the imagination. The story switches from the present to the past, I just wanted to read one time period.

For what it is, this is actually really good. What is it? PWP! (Porn Without Plot, or Plot? What Plot?)

It swaps back and forth between the present day in which our two characters are having ~an erotic interlude~ (it's hardcore porn in text format) after a 3 month separation, and their first meeting. This is pretty much a free into story to a trilogy of novellas featuring these two characters, and I gotta say, I'm tempted to buy them.

Pretty fun read about an assassin who purchases a girl at a bar then I think somehow they fell in love. Not sure if that was the concept I think I would have liked it better without the time jumps possibly if it was written consecutively so that I could get to know the characters.

Shelves: didn-t-finish
A hard assed killer buys the time and availability of a woman tired of people. Could not finish, I´m so sorry. Did a man write this one? "Sink down.. get used to.. slathered. Anal" Yep. Licking slits on the first page had me wondering, I need more foreplay or setup before reading about it.

Very short story...wish it were longer!!! Marcus buys Marquette for a year..secludes her...comes home every few weeks and it ends with them renewing their contract....

Quick short read. It was okay. This is the 1st book in the series (I think). The story did not make a lot of sense to me. Maybe I will explore the series further. It was okay
